Lauri’s place was super clean and comfortable - breakfast was great and the hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. I booked 3 nights and ended up staying 6!

What made this property stand apart is the extreme kindness of the host. As a solo traveler who got very sick after a hike, the host went above and beyond providing me medication and checking in on me. This is what matters more to me than the type of room or amenities.
The room was simple and having the bathroom inside was very convenient. The breeze from the balcony helps to cool the room some. The daily breakfast was good with coffee, juice, breads, and pancakes and eggs cooked fresh. The location was quiet and scenic with restaurants, mercados, and an ATM nearby. The host was extremely responsive and would provide requested items if available. She was also accommodating with early morning breakfasts, helping with tips of what to explore, and scheduling taxi and collectivos.

Very fresh and clean rooms with a nice view of the town and ocean! The owner was super nice and made a really great breakfast, and generally was really kind with giving advice and recommendations :)
