The hospitality was definitely the highlight of our stay. The two ladies at reception were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. They accommodated our last-minute request for an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The kitchen manager was also very warm and welcoming, always greeting us and making sure our breakfast was great. When we requested a special Sri Lankan breakfast, he went out of his way to arrange it for us. The swimming pool was also very clean and well-maintained, and the resort's peaceful setting in the middle of nature was lovely.
We found some ants on our bed one night. Given that the resort is located in the middle of a forest, this wasn't entirely unexpected, and the staff handled it very well by immediately changing our room when we informed them. The only other minor inconvenience was that there was no one at reception during the night, so it could be difficult to find someone if you needed assistance late at night.

Very friendly staff. Nice resort, with restaurant and swimming pool. 2 minutes with tuktuk from lakeside and from Lionsrock.

Pool seemed clean and well maintained. Staff were very good and helpful.
Rooms were cramped and bed is right behind the glass door with translucent curtains. Bathroom doors are transparent almost. Ridiculous.
When I asked for a bottle of water I was charged 4 times the market rate for a 1L water bottle. Very horrible to not provide customers with basic water for drinking.
Also they close the main gate before 10pm so if the vehicle we travel by comes after that then we have to search and make arrangements to open and enter the property.
