We were hoping to get very Irish experience and we got it 100%. Classic place, big room, excellent bedding, clean, very good breakfast and friendly and modest host.
There was nothing we didn't like, it met all of our expectations.

Templemacateer House is my new favourite place! I am a lover of historic houses and that is why I booked Templemacateer in the first instance but the wonderful welcome from Declan and the offer of tea in the sitting room on arrival - plus more tea and biscuits by the fire on our return from a night at Kilbeggan Races was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable I slept soundly the whole night through. Breakfast was delicious. The whole experience was perfection.
