The property is quite spacious, bright and airy, clean, nicely furnished and decorated, located on a quiet street but easily accessible from main street where there are lots of restaurants, mini markets, gelateria.

The access to the apartment is only through stairs which are narrow and quite steep.

Superb

Apartment location is excellent, just next to Vatican City and within walking distance of most city center locations. Apartment is located in historic building and is nicely renovated and in good condition.

As a consequence of energy crisis in Europe and Italian energy saving regulations, the temperature in the apartment was not cozy, but this is general problem. The bed mattresses could have been more convenient.

A place to come back to!

Residenza Borgo Pio is a very comfortable, well designed loft-like apartment. The host is extremely caring and all messages are answered within minutes. All technical devices worked without any problems and the kitchen is well equipped. Basics like oil, pepper, salt, coffee, tea, even fresh butter and a little basket with a selection of Italian breakfast snacks and a bottle of wine are ready for you. The check-in was extremely easy: You just send the host a short message and she will oben the door within two minutes. The rest of the procedure is self-check-in. Though the apartment is situated in one of those typical old Roman houses the apartment itself is very modern an stylish. The location is great, only a three minute walking distance from the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Around the corner there are plenty of nice and affordable restaurants, even a gluten-free one!!! You also find several supermarkets nearby and if you haven't had the time to plan you sightseeing beforehand you will find several guides in the flat. And last but not least the shuttle coach to Fiumicino Airport is within a walking distance of 8 minutes. The stay at Residenza Birgo Pio made our holiday very special!!!
