We had a very enjoyable stay and overall were happy with the apartment. The location is excellent, only a short walk from the Vatican, with many restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The apartment is charming, well laid out and feels very much like staying in a traditional Roman building.
The rooftop terrace was a real highlight and a wonderful place to relax in the evening after a day of sightseeing.
The host was friendly, responsive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment before check-in, which made our arrival much easier. There was also a misunderstanding regarding the sofa bed setup for our adult children, but the host quickly guided us to a solution so we could prepare it ourselves.
The apartment worked well for our family. It has one full bathroom and two toilets. The upstairs toilet also has a sink and bidet, making it perfectly usable as a second toilet area. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed, while the living area offers both a sofa bed for two people and an additional single bed.
The main issue during our stay was that the shower stopped working halfway through our visit. Water pressure disappeared completely after the first three days and, although the host immediately contacted a repair technician and did everything possible to help, the problem was never resolved during the remainder of our stay. Water was still available in the other taps, but it was not possible to take a shower for the last three days.
The kitchen could also be better equipped. There were only limited kitchen utensils available, including just one wine glass. We mentioned this to the host, who acknowledged the issue and said additional items would be provided in the future.
The apartment is located in an older building, which adds character, but there were odours coming from the drains in both the kitchen sink and the upstairs washbasin. A simple improvement would be to add a stopper for the upstairs sink so the drain can be closed when not in use.
One practical note for future guests: the bed in the upstairs room is not really suitable for two adults unless they are comfortable sharing a relatively small bed. Families will likely want to make use of the sofa bed and additional single bed in the living area.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The excellent location, attractive apartment, rooftop terrace and attentive host outweigh the inconveniences, which is why we would rate the property 8 out of 10.

Ubytování v krásné lokalitě, čistě pokoje, vše bylo v naprostém pořádku. Nádherný výhled z terasy Baziliku svatého Petra. 100% se rádi vrátíme. Děkujeme

This place is great! Very nice in historical building and very walkable to major attractions including the Vatican only one block away. Also many great restaurant options nearby and grocery options to eat in. The rooftop terrace is wonderful in the evenings, especially listening to the Vatican choir with a great view of St. Peter’s dome.
