We loved staying there. It is a lovely challet but it has no TV. It is ok for me. The bathroom is very rare.

The environment n the bathroom. We can eat breakfast at our balcony.

Great value

We loved laying on the daybed on the porch in the mornings. Breakfast was also really yummy!

We arrived right at check in time so no one was really around and the welcome wasn’t super warm, but once we met the rest of the staff we were greeted nicely !

Good place to stay.

Quiet, nice, beautiful & friendly staff. Perhaps with all the comments some action taken, I will come back again to stay here!

The junction to this place really need to fix, it is too dangerous, you can get yourself falls from motor bike. The room, to many mosquitoes even they provide mosquitoes net. Toilet (open concept) it is beautiful, i come during raining seasons, so i get wet when using the toilet. Breakfast was good with limited choices.

Nice accommodation with lovely staff

Nice and clean bungalow with a terrace that has a big couch, which was great for relaxing. The breakfast was super delicious and a lot. The best part was the lovely staff who even taught us some phrases in Indonesian.

Perfect location. Perfect staff. Great accomodation. Great value for money.

We loved our stay at Mengalung Bungalows so much that we came back twice within our stay in Lombok. It was such great value for money. We stayed in the superior bungalow and it was super comfortable and perfect for our time in Lombok. The location was great - easy to walk to the main strip of Kuta. Breakfast was delicious. We We hired a scooter through the owners which we ended up keeping for the 3 weeks we were in Lombok which was super easy and affordable and they also organised all our transfers to the harbour for us at a very competitive rate. I think our favourite part though was the friendliness and warmth of the owners and staff. They were so incredibly welcoming and helpful. . We loved chatting to Dewi in the mornings practising our Bahasa and Rifi went out of his way to help us whenever he could. The owners were incredibly lovely also. I highly recommend this place for your next stay! We can't wait to be back. :)

Ganz tolle Unterkunft!!

Alles! Tolle Bungalows mit bequemen Betten, immer sauber, gemütliche Veranda mit Sitzmöglichkeiten, beste Pancakes in Indonesien, das aller liebste Personal! Günstiger Rollerverleih. Es ist ruhig nachts und man kann wirklich gut schlafen. Kann die Mengalung Bungalows zu 100% von Herzen empfehlen!

- Das Frühstück, sehr lecker & reichlich ! -Schöne große geräumige Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse & Liegebett -Super nettes und angenehmes Personal - Küche kann von allen genutzt werden - Direkter Rollerverleih - Super Lage - Roller aber notwendig - Nachts war es sehr ruhig Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt ! :-)

Uitstekende kamer, waar voor je geld

De kamer was gloednieuw en heel schoon, lag in een goed onderhouden tuin. Het personeel was super aardig en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was veel en beter dan in andere resorts.

Superb

We only stayed one night, we wanted to extend, but it was fully booked. We liked it very much, the room was very big and it had a nice terrace to chill. The breakfast was really, really delicious 👏🏼 The owners were very friendly and helpful.

At our terrace was missing the mattress on the Sofa, but we didn't ask for it. Maybe they have it more. The place is very beautiful with some palms, but it would be better that they take the coconut, which could be dangerous if it falls on somebody.

The place was perfect to stay few days in Kuta, very close to the center - less than 10mn walk- the room was big and clean, I really appreciated the outdoor shower, so nice to wake up well in the morning ! Also, the family is so kind, if you need something or informations they are going to be there to help you ! The plus was the breakfast, fresh fruits and fresh juice with eggs or pancakes, perfect breakfast to start the day.

Price worthy - very cheap, comfortable and nice

It was very nice and cheap! The scooter rental is very flexible and cheap as well. We loved the breakfast it was huge and it filled so good. The staff is also very friendly and uncomplicated. It was a nice stay here thank you!

Great accommodation!

Everything was perfect. Super cute rooms with a pretty outdoor bathroom, good wifi, good ac, delicious and big breakfast and great staff! They also have a water dispenser with free drinking water and it’s possible to rent scooters + arrange transportation.

Excellent value for money! The room was very spacious, the bed was confortable and breakfast was really good. The area is quiet but still close to the main road where you can find many good bars and restaurants. You can also rent a scooter directly with them for a cheap price.

Fantastic place lovely people delivering everything that was promised and more.

My wife and had a fantastic 2 week stay at Mengalong bungalows Breakfast , wifi ,scooter hire were all fantastic . Hot showers ,aircon value for money was incredible only to be topped by the lovely people who run the place they even gave us a lift to the airport . Loved we will definitely be back.

The location is close to ashtari yoga, close to the gym and close to several beaches around Kuta. Super cool staff, great breakfast, very big rooms or very good rooms. Lombok is definitely the better Bali.

You shouldn't be afraid of cute geckos and frogs. Also, the occasional cute dog is visiting.

We stayed in Kuta for 7 weeks and this place had the best and biggest breakfast and the location was the most quiet at nights. Very spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again!

the location, cleanliness of the room and the facilities. the room was really large and open. the bathroom / Shower was amazingly very nice and practical. the family that runs the homestay lives on the property and extremely helpful in every way. the breakfast is also made to order. The owners Sisy and Izy were very generous with the guests.

Budget homestay, simple but with a delicious breakfast.

It's a small homestay. It's simple but efficient, and Sisi, the owner, is a lovely lady that cooks delicious breakfasts! The banana and pineapple pancakes are yummy. The property garden is beautiful, and the room was big, but the mattress was worn out, so not that comfy. The room had A/C and hot water, and I liked that they left a mosquito spray in the room, so you can use it if you find insets (and you will find them, as it's a tropical island). It's budget accommodation, so there are no frills. Sisi is available to help you with motorbike rental, laundry, and any activity or transfer you might need. The location is good if you ride a motorbike or scooter, it can be a bit challenging to walk, especially in the evenings.

The mattress was worn out.

The staff is very nice, my room was nice, clean, confortable and the breakfast is good, you have the choice between eggs, noodles or pancakes, you also have fruits and juice. I highly recommend this homestay !

Great place to stay

Beautiful large Room and a very nice open air bathroom. Very clean also. The family welcomed us with open arms and was there to help out. Also the best breakfast service I experienced in Indonesia at a homestay. The scooter rental worked out great too.

To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend travelling in Lombok as a woman in general. Didn’t feel safe and some miscommunication with the hotel about the driver didn’t make the situation better. But if you decide to come to Lombok, the Mengalung Homestay is very recommended!

Awesome homestay with great owners.

The hosts, they were so lovely and chill, very accommodating. Breakfast was very good and scooter rental was cheap (60k Rp). Free mineral water. Room was nice and spacious and your patio is sweet too. The outside bathroom was very cute. And all for this price, very worth it.

Nothing actually. Well, it's Asia and ground floor, so the occasional ant can be found in your room. But that's really it.
