The style of this property was wonderful. We felt like we were in an authentic villa in Costa Rica even though we were in the city. The decor was modern and beautiful. The staff was very nice.
I rented a room with a double bed for me and my daughter. This room had no bathroom privacy. The shower is glass, right in the bedroom. We would take turns sitting outside while the other showered. The toilet was in a tiny closet so small that my knees touch the door. And it was dark even with the light on. We used our phone light to see. The walls are thin and you can hear everything so we also took turns sitting outside to have privacy while using the toilet. There was also construction going on right next to our room. The workers were actually louder than the construction itself. If I was by myself or married, bathroom privacy would not have been an issue.

Location, nice aesthetic design touches
The aesthetic design choices did not make up for poor execution on the install, for example plumbing and lighting fixtures were not anchored, a futon might be fashionable but not if I can feel the spring supports through the mattress, the shower floor was not sloped to the drain and the lovely tile used was too slick for safety in a shower.
