It had a modern vibe, the facilities were great for a great price, in a central location walking distance from all the hit spots, and the staff were so friendly.

Really friendly service! They even put our luggage in our room that we left behind while we went exploring (we were too early for check-in). Fine and clean common showers and toilets, and laundry facilities were also fine. Nice big kitchen, although there weren't many pots and such to use. But since there weren't many people cooking, it didn't matter.
What we didn't like was the air quality in our room. It was uncomfortably stuffy and there wasn't really a way to better it, even with the window and the door (to the hallway) open simultaneously.
