Nice hotel, great pool, lovely room, comfortable bed
WiFi was not anything remotely resembling high speed, very intermittent signal. Annoying face scanning/wristband system to access pool area. No direct beach access and path to beach feels unsafe and poorly lit.

we picked this hotel as with most others we found the reviews speaking of mold. it is more on the pricey side, especially, if you want to have a patio room overlooking rio negro. but, if you only stay for one night, it is totally worth it. the room was ok in size, not super big, but ok. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was ok. the promenade is very nice to walk along and in the evening the area becomes very lively. this, however, does not get to the hotel. there it was quite.
the food in general could be better. we had lunch at the restaurant and it wasn't really nice. eatable, but not great (seeing that it has to be paid for extra) and there are only a few options outside of the hotel that one could get food at. there are only few food stalls. further down the road there are two or three restaurants. if one were to stay longer, this might not be enough

Good bar, wonderful sunsets at the pool.
The water in the pool seemed to be reused, without proper filter.

The view from pool was amazing but there was no confortable chair enough
There was no easy way to the beach and it was far from many attractions. The price for extending the Check out hours was very expensive and there was no place to wait for airplane hours than the main lobby
