What a gorgeous place to stay in Sintra. Everything was exactly as described, with beautiful rooms & thoughtfully considered furnishings, but it was all the little extras that really made our stay so special.
When you’re travelling for three weeks, washing is something you inevitably need to take care of, so having complimentary access to a washing machine & dryer, along with all the laundry products, was such a welcome touch.
There were local drinks in the room fridge, lovely toiletries, dressing gowns, & beautifully laundered sheets and towels. Their “petit” breakfast was anything but petit, & the cheese, fruit, port tastings, and beer available from noon until midnight were incredibly generous.
The service was exceptional. Douglas was so attentive, both by email before our arrival & in person. He gave us a map, plenty of local recommendations, & some fantastic tips for hiking in the area.
The location was also ideal, within easy reach of the historic town & local buses. We loved visiting the nearby market for an easy dinner after a full day of exploring.
Such a thoughtful, welcoming place & a truly delightful stay.

Great location, Beautiful boutique hotel. Room was perfect. Washer and dryer were on my floor and were free including washing pods. The host was extremely helpful. He made recommendations for dinner and even made the reservations. He helped us plan our sightseeing. Breakfast was great and he even had a free happy with beer, wine and snack. The mini bar was complimentary and there were complimentary hats which I wore the whole trip!

The place is awesome, the staff was supernice and superhelpfull. The bed was so big, I had to call my wife if I wanted to organize a date with her 😀. Stayed at Charming room.very good breakfast.

The room and common areas were clean and inviting. We felt at ease and able to relax after long days of walking around Sintra. Douglas the manager was helpful and welcoming in the morning. The check-in, check-out, and bag storage were very clear and easy. I would absolutely return.
