Stelios rooms are at the prime location, in the main pedestrian street of the old town. Venetian harbour is just around the corner and the main bus station, and city bus station are both 5 minutes away. The house is a historical old house, but wonderfully kept, extremely clean, freshly renovated, with comfortable and efficient furniture. We felt privileged to stay at such a lovely place. Stelios is a wonderful host, he was always there to help us, gave us great advice on locations we should visit and even on some great discounts we could use, that we would never have known about without his help. He really made us feel like guests in his home, without being ovebearing. One day, there was a problem with an internet provider for the whole neighbourhood and Stelios got a replacement wifi working so fast that we didn't even notice there was a glitch.
We really liked everything! I would say that the stairs in the house are steep, so this is probably not a good place for people who have difficulty walking or wheelchair users. Some of the rooms overlook the main pedestrian street which is very lively and loud on weekends. For us - that was a bonus, as we enjoyed looking at it from the balcony, but if you are a light sleeper, our advice is to let Stelios know beforehand, so you can get a room on the other side of the house.

Stelios and his family were delightful. The location is extremely central. The room was beautifully clean and the balcony was a lovely bonus.

-location. It is set in the heart of the old town, with so many shops and cafes around
-good pillows
-little balcony with the square and street view
-shower is small
-beds are ok but we were not given the room that I booked for. I asked for single beds and we ended up in a double bed.
-air condition remote is set at 26° only
-stairs at the entrance are very steep and narrow making it difficult to go up and down carrying luggage.
