Tab Kaek Beach is probably the nicest beach in Krabi. Bungalows at Home Resort are just meters from the beach. Staff is very friendly; bungalows are very comfortable; delicious seafood at restaurant; good breakfast; good value for money; I would stay here again.
If you look for a place to relax and chill, this is it! Just be aware that you need a rental car, if you want to be mobile.

The views from the room were very good. I had a free upgrade to a beach bungalow. the bathroom, shower area and wardrobe were very spacious. It was pleasant to be able to walk straight out from the bungalow and along the beach in both directions and easy to get a long-tail boat across to the Hong islands and Ko Yao Noi. Sunset walk along the beach was fabulous. There is a small on site restaurant and the one meal that i had there was fine. You can get drinks and fresh coconut juice at the bar area.
I found the area too isolated, especially if you prefer a bit of independence from the resort. Access to the nearest seven eleven would necessitate walking up a hill and along a fair distance. It would be necessary to get a tuk tuk, Grab taxi or order a Grab delivery for essentials, so best to plan a stop before arriving. The resort is off a road that has quite a steep jungle area directly behind one side of the road and is down the hill on the other side of the road. It is away from the more developed part of the general Tubkaek beach area. The hotel telephone, Netflix and Prime did not work on the first night and the water supply was very limited. This was sorted out the following morning and was fine thereafter.
