DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Nice location

No water, Electricity only on between 6pm & 10pm….sometimes!!!, staff not helpful nor forthcoming with information. owner very rude.

isolated/remote location is benefit but also a risk

location is right at the beach, with few local people fishing on the beach. The only tourists are from Akadia

the location is only reachable by boat. this means that you are dependent on the boat service. But the boat service proved in my case not reliable. The boat service did not go well: I was supposed to be collected by a boat on day of departure at 7:30, but this specific boat never showed. (only) at 8:30 the resort manager arranged that another boat (which was there already at 7:30: and which was intended for other people in the resort leaving at 10:00) took me to Sabang. However, this hour delay resulted in me missing my transport connection from Sabang. The resort manager says that the operator is responsible for the boat, but the operator (whom I telephoned during my waiting) said that the resort manager should telephone the boat…

Amazing setting if you are prepared to accept ‘survival conditions’ !! Be aware - bring what you need (inc drinks and fo

fabulous setting - picture perfect! Wonderful to hear the waves and jungle insects from our room.

Room was not clean. Mattresses were filthy. Electric only available 6-10pm, so not even a fan to sleep in the sticky hot, smelly room. Food extremely basic (one course of meat and rice per meal) and no drinks available at all (until we asked them to get supplies for a couple of days )! The manageress needs training in how to cater for tourists!

Great location, Poor owner that won't invest

I loved the beach, the location is just perfect. I also loved the staff, Olga and Alex do a great job and are very accommodating to whatever your needs may be. The bungalows were nice, for those who aren't too worried about no insulation, leaky roofs, low to no water pressure, insects, a raw experience to say the least.

The prices of the food, given the kind of food that is presented. A leg of chook with next to no meat on it, accompanied by canned vegetables and some (i can admit) fantastic garlic rice. The lack of activities, no snorkelling gear, no water sports/ sports activities as advertised. No Wifi, the wifi is a hotspot off poor Olga's own personal phone in which you would have to ask for, also not something advertised. The owner, Thomas, can be inappropriate towards your partner and a somewhat sexual way. Is self centred and although has useful advice about puerto princessa and surrounding islands, is useless to converse with. A one way street some would say.

Relaxing hideaway to recharge the batteries close to the Underground river.

The beach is just wonderful, it’s like a private beach where you really can relax and forget the stress and hustle from the world around.

There is not much cooking offered by the staff but you are invited to use the kitchen.

Beach is unfortunately full of sand flies, which makes it really uncomfortable no shops, the booking stated: you could buy drinks from us, which is not true Power is only available between 6pm and 10pm, this information should be included in the booking. I wanted some action on the pc, which was not possible No toilet paper in the bathroom Food package is way too expensive for what you get

Great location. Extremely poor facilities.

The location is stunning and unbelievable.

The facilities are very poor and while the staff are kind, they are very limited in food that they offer and the services they provide. We had no power for 2 days and no running water. We were not offered any breakfast and dinner was very very basic.

Robinson style

Incredible location. It is not on an island but can only be reached by sea. Rather isolated place and suitable for those who like the wild nature and do not complain about the lack of some comforts. However, for every need you can rely on the availability and kindness of Maria, who is also an excellent cook.

The bungalows need some maintenance.

Unexpected, very remote and adventurous paradise

This was a pretty crazy holiday! Staying in a completely remote place with basically noone else was so exciting. Only accessible by boat. A beach of one's dream just for yourself. You can do anything at any time. A very special type of holiday, definitely worth the experience! And also super cheap for it being such a unique adventure.

When booking, we were 0 % aware of it being so adventurous haha. Not sure if it is written anywhere, but you should know it beforehand! Therefore, it is definitely not for elderly people etc. I recommend staying longer than just 2 nights like we did; at best a week to experience the remoteness to its fullest :)

Very good

Olga & Marie and the team were great to be with, the accommodation is basic but comfortable. The location is super where the jungle meets the beach just beautiful and I got a good 4G signal which was good.

Stayed in February 2020

Food was good. Fresh and home cooked meals. Staff very helpful. Really amazing place to stay. Robbie was very helpful along with Doreena in organising trips and transport back to airport. Ethos of the business is great. I really think we will come back.

Limited breakfast options. Need new mattresses on the beds to be more comfortable. Lack of electricity, could invest in a lot more solar panels to provide all day. Wifi didn't work. No chambermaid service, wanted room cleaned now and again.

great way to disconnect, for lovers of simplicity!

if what you're looking for is remote / simple / quiet / disconnected / simple / paradise / "camping" then this is a good place. However it comes with the "hardships" of being on a remote beach. Electricity only from 6pm-10pm (if lucky), bugs and critters, cold water showers, limited food options. But it is also extremely luxurious to jump from bed into the sea, hang in the hammocks, having a beer with other guests, explore the beaches and part of the jungle completely by yourself.... (TIP: bring own food / drinks / coffee for when the hosts run out / do not have this; bring your own sheets / (bed)bug protection)

food options for vegetarians/non meat eaters were limited and not very varied. It is a bit unclear what of food / drinks is charged or is part of a dinner or so. Don't expect a detailed bill... perhaps better to settle it every day.
