Amazing caravan break

Amazing location, near the sea and on a lovely site with a pool and children’s entertainment. Layout of caravan was great as it had two bathrooms

Remote for the tele in the small room was missing which was a shame or the children to use

Great location to stay

Caravan in ideal spot for accessing beach, walks , ice cream, pub and fish and chips by foot. 40 min walk to Hunstanton along beach. By car so convenient to visit other hot- spots. Site was quiet and lots of ducks and ducklings around. Dog friendly. Shop had items for convenience. Caravan had all the basics. Bed was comfy. Caravan was warm. Cleaners were friendly and helpful. We had great weather and really enjoyed 3 nights in Heacham.

WiFi was non existent and couldn't be purchased from site as described when booking. Owner advised she would get this rectified on the website. Signal is poor in the area and location of caravan at back of site impacts upon this. Had to buy more washing up liquid as only left with a dribble and no bin bags. Front door needs a hook to keep it open to prevent it banging and other doors inside from banging shut if windy. Shower was temperamental.

We enjoyed our stay immensely, very doggie friendly, and would thoroughly recommend to friends

All good, on arrival, was pleased with Caravan, size, and general appearance, and cleanliness. As a previous owner of a holiday let, I know only too well ,the difficulties of keeping everything up to scratch. It can be that a guest ,or guests, don't give enough feedback to make the owner, or letting agent ,aware of any problems. In my experience, its the little things, that can make a big difference. Be it a budget rental, or top of the range, these little things make the difference.

I don't like the phrase didn't like, but, a few things to be addressed, to make the guests have a better experience, and want to return for future bookings. Both washbasins, the plug does not pop up as it should to empty the water. Front door needs a bracket to hold the door open, especially on windy days. I was told WI-FI was free, i found that i had to pay to get connected, not that expensive, but not the point. This is only a suggestion, a dvd player, is always a nice touch, especially on them rainy days, with a few dvds to watch.

It was ok as it was just somewhere to stay while we visited family in hospital.

Beds could feel every spring on the single bed in left bedroom . Not very clean dusty in places . Out of 8 lights only 2 worked and 1 of them was dodgy.

Great short break

Large living space. Very usable kitchen. Two toilets. Big shower. Comfortable beds. Very efficient gas central heating. Location of site great for beach. Good on-site facilities (well stocked shop in particular). Alison & Mark were very helpful.

The caravan location on the site was a bit too close to the clubhouse which was rather noisy late into Saturday night.

Smelly

The lock box process was fine and easy. The location also was fine for our needs.

The whole van smelled badly of dogs; whilst I appreciate that the unit was available to pet owners, we weren't expecting to be assailed with the smell of animals throughout our stay. On this experience, I'd be inclined to recommend ONLY for those who have pets.

Good break.

Good location. Ticked all the boxes apart from WiFi. Showers had good power. Owner send battery for smoke alarm quickly after request(btw I think they all need checking as another one started beeping)

Didn't manage to get WiFi in the caravan even after dongle was used. Not much to cook with...Cutlery, spatula etc. Not worth using pool if only for 3 days as you had to buy 1 week's worth of passes

Very relaxing staff welcoming

Location was perfect for us as a family with friends. Out little dog loved it settled really well

Neighbours in 27 were so noisy vibrated through our caravan keeping us up till 2.30am

Comfortable, clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location close to the beach. Site had all the amenities on it that you'd want, shop, bar, indoor swimming pool. Plenty of space to park car next to caravan/mobile home, Caravan was spacious, clean and well equipped.

Only thing i can really think of is that i'm glad we took a couple of fans with us, or it would have been too hot.

The sun shone and there was plenty to see and do

The location was perfect. Easy reach for the beach and a good base to explore the coast of Norfolk The host was prompt in their response to all queries The caravan was basic but as only there for a weekend and was out the majority of our time it met our needs

The caravan is a bit tired and could have been cleaner. It looked like a general clean is being completed but there is accumulation of dust around edge of carpet/floor and on wall corners The outside lighting didn’t work.

Convenient and cost effective location for a stop on the North Norfolk Coast Walk

Location and size of the unit was good for four. Entertainment staff were good fun

Lovely, comfortable, happy place.

Beautifully clean, well appointed, welcoming and comfortable. Close to the beach and lovely restaurant and shop.

The instructions to find the caravan were a bit unclear and we weren’t given the van number - that’s all we needed.

Fantastic location. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check-in to the property.

Location was excellent. The property was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great access to the beach. Swimming pool was good and took 2 minutes to get to it.

More information about what there is to do on the complex would have been great.

A great place to stay.

The caravan was cosy but spacious. It was very well equipped. The shower was great, the beds super comfortable. Having a key box made arrival very easy. I would highly recommend this caravan.

You get what you pay for - dated caravan but was clean and in good location near the beach

Caravan was clean and the site in a fantastic spot near the beach

Toilet seat broken (also a padded seat?! With rips in) Not enough crockery/glasses and what there was was mismatched and stained No welcome pack or information in the property (about how to operate appliances etc) All upholstery and decor is very tired (threadbare) and would benefit from being upgraded

Absolutely loved the caravan and the site. Location was beautiful and would definitely come back!

Great communication with the owner, had everything we needed, soaps and towels. Beautiful location.

The only downside was no internet of phone signal. Even after paying to join the local wifi network it still didn’t work in the caravan.

A good single night stay

Location, ease of access to keys and disabled ramp. Only one night stay, so difficult to make a full judgement. Met our needs.

A few small maintenance jobs need doing but didn't detract from our stay

Caravan was good location. Fast owner anavers.

Caravan was so dirty, hair in bed lining, on shower walls was full of hair. Wifi not work at all. Fridge was very strong bleach smell, cant put kids food in it. Spider every rooms with big spiders webs. Kettle full of limescale. No toilet brush. Dish was dirty too, cups. They say in caravan we will finde shower gel, washing up liquid. But was just minimum. Probably ita was not owner, but cleaner fault.

I would recommend the park however I would maybe choose a different caravan

The location was perfect and the price was really good to say we booked last minute . The actual park was fantastic we enjoyed the food , the staff was really friendly and helpful . The overall caravan was lovely and the owners replied super fast when we arrived

It was a sunny day when we arrived and we walked in to the boiler on full power and full temperature which was a struggle for the dog, so we switched it off but then when we came to needing a shower it wouldn’t relight so we had to go without hot water, And there was also thousands of ants coming from the bathroom into the bedroom.

Perfect

Absolutely perfect location. So close to the beach. Didn't really use the facilities on site as was only there for one night. But what we saw looked good. Caravan was well equipped and comfortable.

Exceptional

The hosts couldn't do more for us, brilliant communication from the start and, after they found out it was my daughter's birthday weekend, they not only upgraded the caravan for us but decorated it too. So so kind of them and my daughter was delighted. Absolutely fantastic location next to the beach and I really recommend popping over to Hunstanton which was a lovely town with lots going on.

Nothing, it was a great stay.
