the breakfast was good for my 3 girls and they were able to get well fed ahead of the day heading out.

I booked this hotel as it had a pool and my kids wanted to go swimming every day of our week stay. however the pool was shut each day we were there, staff kept saying 'it will be open tomorrow', but that never happened. so it ruined the whole stay, and despite complaining I received no compensation. For my next trip to Katy in November I have chosen a different hotel and trust they will treat me better than this one. takeaway is to look elsewhere that here!

Convenient and tidy with a nice perfect breakfast!

Loved the breakfast! The view of the lake and we even saw fireworks our first night in !

The rooms could stand another mirror and more outlets.

Nice location, new facility missing some of the personal touch details.

The location was perfect for everything we needed to do. The grounds were clean. Our room was efficient.

We had reserved a room for us and our 2 dogs, the front desk put us on the 2nd floor, near the end of the hall. This was not convenient for taking our dogs out of the facility a couple times a day. The breakfast was very small and wasn’t resupplied after things ran out. Disappointing.

Other than the original room issue, the staff and facilities were to our satisfaction.

Location was great being close to everything and the staff were accommodating and knowledgeable of facilities. If there were concerns there was always someone there to assist. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were nice and quiet and everything encouraged a very independent stay.

Check in was very simple as we booked ahead of time but upon arriving to our original room there was a very strong smell of urine in the air. It was so strong we requested a move to the only room that was available at the time which had one less bed than what we needed. We were thankful for the quick accommodation and were able to move in less than five minutes. Also the new room shower handle was broken (not so safe especially when traveling with children).

Very disappointing!

The property was in a great location for us.

We stayed 6 days at this property. Our room was cleaned only once in those 6 days, and sheets were changed once. We were never brought towels, and the only reason why the room was cleaned the one time is because I went down and demanded that we get clean towels and sheets changed. Its sad that this could be a wonderful property if it were only managed properly. I will never go back.

Disgusting warm smokey room.

Beautiful Facility.

Smoke filled nonsmoking room which staff could not move us out of. Staff said they had no power to help and offered an air freshener after being told one of our party was allergic to the smoke ans could not breath in the room.

Disappointing

The location is convenient

We thought the hotel would be lovely because it look very newly built, but this was the dirties, dustiest, foul smelling hotel we’ve ever stayed! The rooms smelled badly like dog urine! The vents were covered in dust and the ceiling had dust near the vents. My husband and son have allergies and were sick the entire stay. The sheets and bed had discoloration. The carpet stained. Nasty build up around the stove! This would be a nice hotel if they were more strict with house keeping! Very poorly cleaned! Some of the bath linen had stains and smelled like perfume. The hotel was not cleaned properly along with the linen and common areas!

Location is really good, noise protection from neighboring rooms great, staff really nice, breakfast awesome!!

The sink in the bath was too high and not enough space to work around, towels requested were not delivered, I had to go downstairs to pick them up myself

Facilities are kept up well and staff are always friendly and attentive.

Its Houston, it’s hot. Many people coming to this facility are here for sports tournaments and have been outside all day. I was really looking forward to the pool which was not open and I had no prior notice. I would have chosen another property based on this alone. Also, no clear wording on opting in/out of room service—it just wasn’t done. Not even having the bed made up was really disappointing. honestly, not sure that I’ll stay here again.

The beds were comfortable

When we got to this property, our room was not ready. We were told 10 minutes, which ended up to 30 minutes. We asked if the pool would be open, and a young man told us yes in a few hours. We asked if the bar would open, and the same gentlemen replied that our GM will be here to open it tonight. When we got back to the room at night, a very nice lady told us the pool had not been open in a while, and also, the bar had never been open. The breakfast was also horrible. The shower in our room was broke, and we were scared to open it. The only positive thing I will say about this hotel is that the lady at night was wonderful , and the bed was comfortable. This hotel has a lot of potential but needs a lot of changes

Great location, and large Rooms

The element hotel is located right off the highway, and very close to Costco and many other restaurants and shops. Great for visitors traveling into Houston for events. The hotel was very clean and our room was very large.

The "free" breakfast was not very good, and by the time we arrived downstairs most of the food was gone. We waited for someone to come refilll the food but we needed to get on with our day,

Far better hotels for the same price, 5min from this one

It was close to where I was having the meetings

At 7:30am I tried to do the check out but there was no body at the front desk for more than 15min. I had to leave and come back later before 12 to do it

The room provided number of beds needed

Cleanliness was sub par and is immediately noticeable throughout the lobby. We also asked for extra towels but never got any. Breakfast was awful. lack of choices and definitely low quality food.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and I was given a room with only one queen so they forced me to pay for an addtl room to get the space needed for our stay. don't feel like I should've had to pay for an addtl room for the hotel's mistake. Very disappointed that we were not given what we booked.
