There are so many things we liked about staying here. Sampath & his family were so welcoming & accommodating.
Our A/C room was very clean, with a kettle, teabags and creamer, fridge and a great jungle bathroom mural. It had numerous hooks, shelves and areas to put items onto which we did find lacking on a few places we stayed in previously.
We had a lovely, shared, sitting area with sofas for us and another room where we ate our breakfasts & dinners over looking the lush, tree filled valley below.
Food- was always plentiful and delicious. So much that we had our dinners here for the 3 nights we stayed.
Sampath and his brothers and cousins own a tuk-tuk and were always available to pick up or take us when needed to the start of the Pekoe Trail, Little Adams Peak trail early in the morning before sunrise or collect us from town etc. It was really handy and Sampath was reliably contactable at all times.

Fantastic views and the location is perfect. Sampeth who ran the accomodation with his family was fantastic - really accommodating and so helpful when we had a question about the area and the upcoming train tickets we had booked. Not to mention the breakfast - it was the best breakfast we’d ever had and we’ve had a few!
Nothing - it was our favourite accomodation in Sri Lanka.

The stay was peaceful, fantastic views, Sampath was an awesome host who helped us out with all sorts of advice on tuk tuks and how to skip the queues for the Kandy train! Thank you Sampath!!

the view,
breakfast had the most bland food, I would have rather it was not included in the hotel. for paying significantly higher than other hotels in the area, I did not feel like they added any value.
