Nice view and a really good breakfast with a variety of food items. Staff was friendly.
The property needs a renovation badly. Amenities are old and look dirty. Clealiness of the bathroom also needs to improve. All in all, the prices they charge don't justify the value in return.

The view from our room was amazing, we could see the sunrise and set over the mountains and forest. The breakfast had an array of options, both local and foreign. Easy to get a tuk tuk into the centre for a good price

View from the room is amazing with spectacular kithal Ella. Staff is great and very helpful. Specially the two guys at front desk gave us ideas on where to go and what activities to choose etc. Rooms are comfortable. Distance to the city center/ town is like 10 minutes in a Tuk. Place is relatively close to all relevant sightseeing areas. They have a simple yet fulfilling breakfast available.
So the property is somewhere between a hill and a valley. Having said that you have to climb up and down quite a few times. However, they have tuk services and front desk staff helped us to get our bags up and down. It was not an inconvenience to us. Yet something to think about if you’re someone with health issues.

Vi boede her 2 nætter og var ikke tilfredse med opholdet. Det bedste ved hotellet er en fremragende udsigt og et meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Man skal være opmærksom på at der er mindst 15 minutters gang til byens centrum. Ventilator og elkedel og køleskab virkede. Morgenmaden var enkel men ok og kostede 1550LKR.
Desværre er både hotellet og værelserne meget slidte. Det ene værelse lugtede af fugt, det andet kraftigt af maling i badeværelset. Eneste belysning var en enlig pære i loftet. Generelt kunne rengøringen være bedre. Sammenlignet med andre hoteller vi har boet på i Sri Lanka er hotellet dyrt værelsernes standard taget i betragtning og at man skal betale for morgenmaden.

The arrangements made on bookings and in person was not the same. At arrival they told us we would get an upgrade the second day which was odd but we rolled with it, who doesn’t like an upgrade. After settling in our room we didn’t want to switch rooms for obviously comfort reasons, why book two night stays and move around.
The second day, the person in charge told us we can pack our bags an switch to the other room since our original room had been requested by a returning customer. There was no upgrade like mentioned the previous day. He made us feel that we weren’t valued as new customers even thought we have booked two nights stayed. After breakfast, we packed then got instructed to go place our luggage in new room, the new room believe or not wasn’t cleaned up from the previous renters. Absolutely awful.
The cleanliness of this property is very poor, In both rooms we stayed. Broken shower head dirty beddings left on balcony, medications left behind by old customer, garage not emptied and stained pillows.

We had a deluxe room on the top floor. Room was amazing, clean, huge and comfy with a massive balcony. The view is unreal. The staff helped us arrange a scooter within 10 minutes which was very cheap. Taxi to train station at the drop of a hat. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It’s 5 minutes drive from the Main Street and perfectly out of the way of the hussle and bustle but near enough for everything

The best views you could dream of in Ella looking towards the Ravana falls. Loved sitting early morning and evenings admiring the view.
The hotel is not in its best shape outside the rooms, but i think for what your paying its at great value! The rooms itself are super nice!

Die Unterkunft lag traumhaft oberhalb von Ella und war mit dem TukTuk gut zu erreichen. Der Blick über die traumhafte Berglandschaft mit Wasserfall war außergewöhnlich sowohl vom Zimmer als auch vom Essbereich aus. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Insbesondere die Frühstückscrew hat uns mit einem leckeren Frühstück verwöhnt. Tuk Tuks wurden auf Wunsch geordert und überhaupt war alles richtig gut. Wer mehr für den Preis erwartet sollte woanders buchen. Hier stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis auf jeden Fall.
Lage, Ausblick, Personal und Zimmer, alles völlig okay.

Everything! Located on the hill overlooking the entire valley. You can easily access the hotel with a tuktuk and walk down to the city. More importantly, the view!!! We fell in love with this place as soon as we entered our room and we got the habit to wake up early every morning to witness the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen! Gayan and the entire staff made our stay memorable m, helping us to organize our days, providing a excellent service (laundry, breakfast, taxis or tuktuks)! Highly recommend!

Obsługa była jedyną pozytywną stroną tego hotelu i śniadanka które przygotowują, z niczym nie ma problemu i kiedy chcieliśmy z grupą wieczorem posiedzieć w części śniadaniowej to personel obsługiwał nas do samego końca przygotował nam naleśniki dla dzieci które były głodne. Personel na 5 gwiazdek. Plusem jest też widok na wodospad i górę która jest piękna
Ten obiekt ma dwa budynki pierwszy który ma normalny standard i straszna wilgoć grzyb na ścianach którego zapach był wszędzie budziłeś się i śmierdziało grzybem nie wspominając o łazience Brudno wszędzie, mieliśmy wrażenie że nie została wymieniona pościeli to był najgorszy pokój na Srliance.a mieszkaliśmy w wielu hotelach i mamy porównanie z innymi. Jest jeszcze drugi budynek który ma pokoje premium i tam jest zupełnie inaczej więc jeśli ktoś robi rezerwację w tym hotelu to tylko o podwyższonym standardzie tam są większe pokoje, taras i mniej śmierdzi grzybem, budynek jest nowy.

Zimmer ist nicht so sauber, kein Lift. Ziemlich alt. Lage ist auch nicht so ideal. Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig

L’accès en voiture pour le stationnement est périlleux. Il faut être conducteur aguerri. Par contre, les employés peuvent facilement aider de ce côté et ranger votre véhicule. Reste quand même que c’est un léger irritant. Pour tout le reste, l’endroit et la vue sont sublimes! Wow!

Wir hatten ein Superior Doppelzimmer gebucht. Die Aussicht war wirklich Klasse! Der Balkon ist groß und geräumig, wir hatten das Glück eines Bads mit Fenster, was sehr viel lüften durch die Feuchtigkeit geholfen hat.
Die Aussicht beim Frühstück ist ebenfalls klasse und das Frühstück lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, Wäscheservice günstig und top 👍🏼
Auf Wunsch konnte auch immer ein tuktuk ganz einfach organisiert werden.
Die ganze Anlage gleicht doch sehr einer Baustelle. Die Zimmer waren durch die fehlende Klimaanlage sehr feucht. Ein Mückennetz wäre toll, da der Ventilator nachts doch sehr laut ist.

The view was absolutely amazing.
The hotel staff were so lovely too and breakfast the next day was surprisingly nice.
The facilities were so dirty, the sheets had alive and dead bugs on them and were stained. We had to put our own personal towels down over the sheets.
There is no AC only a small dusty fan. Although it is up a Mountain and we were aware there would be some insects. There was a significant amount in our room including multiple cobwebs and a sizable (about the size of a palm) spider near the bed. The bathroom was also very run down and not the cleanest.

Vistas impresionantes con paisaje exuberante desde la habitación.
Impresiona a mitad de construcción con infraestructuras poco cuidadas con cables colgando, polvo y nidos de insectos. La habitación dista mucho de las imágenes, siendo mucho más sencilla. Ofrecen desayuno sencillo estilo buffet en terraza compartida. No lo destacaría especialmente.

Great location with great views, we booked 3 rooms and all of them exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious and came with a wonderful view from the restaurant, all 3 rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially the receptionist.
Honestly, I didn't find anything to complain about.

The location is less than 10 minutes by tuktuk to the center. The spot is beautiful. The room is spacious with a bathroom and balcony. The breakfast is top notch and the view of the restaurant is mind blowing. Very friendly staff as well.

They offered us early check-in and late check-out despite their tight schedule. Special thanks to the front desk and the staff, they were really kind and flexible :-) And best thing was they offered us a buffet for breakfast!

Its better if there is a exhaust fan since there is no AC. Bathroom might need new paint since there are fungus on the walls.

Nice view from the window
The photos are not of the real place. You come to totally different place which looks much worse, basically they have few very basic and quite worn rooms, no reception place so no place to sit in the evening.

The view from the rooms was breathtaking. The staffs were super polite. We ordered dinner, which was too delicious. We loved the ambience. They are always available 24x7.

Window doesn’t close at all, and it needs a deep clean in some places. There is a very up hill road to arrive to the hotel from Ella town
