The location was perfect for what we needed, secluded and out of the way but with a pub right next door. It was quiet and exactly what we needed for a group of 7 adults.
The amenities were fabulous. The working dishwasher made everything easier for meal times and it was nice to find a kitchen with everything you needed in it for a change.
The welcome basket was a really nice touch and the grounds around the property were really lovely to walk round.
The underfloor heating was also superb especially at nighttime. Uber Eats/Just Eat and taxi services are available to the property and the station into Liverpool City centre is only an 8 minute drive from the property.
The Saughall Arms was great for a drink and a bite to eat and is really reasonably priced too.
The road sign for the property wasnt properly visible so it took a minute to find the right street.
The sofa bed needs a new mattress or a mattress topper as it was very thin so we had to use the duvet to thicken it up and rely on blankets.

Absolutely gorgeous character property. Beautifully furnished with lots of homely and nice touches. Lovely welcome basket with a variety of treats! Spotlessly clean throughout and fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need including an air fryer! Fantastic pool and hot tub , again spotlessly clean, excellent facilities.
The hosts are just lovely and can't do enough to help, we loved every minute of our stay!
