I like if here and will return

The people and comfortable bed

Initially the neighborhood from memory’s from years ago . I am 69 and use a roller walker so am high on the vulnerability list . I did walk around yesterday for an hour between 7 &8 pm yesterday and felt very safe. I have been advised by several people not to walk around at night .

It was warm and good Internet

Uncomfortable bed . pillow was hardly a pillow at all .recreation loungexas if you call it tgat only 2 basic chairs no sofa no tv no games Kevin who was only the jouse warden was helpful but did seem to be annoyed once or twice when i kept asking questions about the place and information how to get around town as it was a fair bit distance out of town Was never given door code to enter when i was late as did happen on a thursday night as i went to a concert to see Depeche Mode live got back around 1.15 am in the mornig as i decided to walk back As i hot back to house everything was all locked up so spent early hours sitting on steps outside backdoor in the cold yold kevin i was not happy waiting for taxi was near in impossible and all buses had stopped running by around 10.45pm was promised door code by 2.45pm on a Wednesday afternoon never ever fid get one and on my last day still did not get door code I will certainly not go back there ever again Who ever owns the property needs to sort things out quick

It is insane that anyone stays there. I have never stayed anywhere so disgusting /roach infested!

the location was ok I guess.

absolutely filthy bathroom. Infested with roaches, like it was an absolute horror movie or drug den. So gross I could not even sit on toilet. Roaches everywhere. Big and little ones all over every wall and crevice in the bathrooom.

Superb

There really was an on-site owner, but long-term residents were very helpful in getting oriented and offering advice about dining and shopping in the area. It's between the UCDavis Med Center area and Little Saigon districts. I had a bus pass and the accomodation is on the 51 line which runs down Fruitridge and onto Broadway to Downtown. One can also access the Light Rail by the 51 Line.

There was a squatter in an area separate from the residential area. I'm getting a bit creaky so the upper bunk was chore. No public transport later at night.

Very cheap place to stay, but don't expect a lot of comfort or hygiene.

The location is pretty good, grocery stores and other facilities are within walking distance. Great that you can use the kitchen. The other people staying were nice. There is a backyard you can use.

The matrass in the bunk bed was very thin, I could feel the steel of the bed through it. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the kitchen was a bit messy. The cupboard supposed to belong to your bunk had other stuff in it. The fridge was so full of things, I couldn't fit any of mine in there. People left so much food and other stuff behind when they left and nobody dared to throw it out.

It was a comfortable okay place to stay to have my own space and I will rent it again

The bed was very comfortable the room was a nice size the kitchen was accessible which wasn't mentioned I don't think and that was a good bonus for me because I like to cook

It was pretty dirty I don't mean messy I mean dirty. When I walked across the floor with bare feat it grossed me out. I turned on the oven and it set off the smoke alarm because the oven was so filthy

I would suggest paying the little bit extra for a private room. Otherwise ask for the owners numbers

I actually stayed here from 7/26 - 7/31/2022. I renewed my stay twice and was discussing the possibility of staying longer on a monthly lease arrangement. Unfortunately, you have to stay for two to three weeks before they will consider approving you for a monthly rate. The house was clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. Within walking distance were a convenience store, pizza parlor, fried chicken place, and a couple of bars. The neighbors love music and love to play it loud. They turn it off at 10 pm so not too disruptive. There was one room with three bunk beds and two single private rooms. I would love to stay again but in a private room so I could escape others there if needed. I highly recommend staying here if you are on a budget.

I would have given this location all top ratings, if not for the one thing that made me flee early costing me a prepaid night's stay. There was a woman staying there, she'd been there two to three weeks before I arrived. I do not think she was the house attendant, as there was another man there on a monthly lease who seemed more connected with the people who run this hostel. The woman was a traveling nurse who had been injured in a bus accident in another state, I am sure she is probably a good nurse and runs her area well. But as a housemate she is intolerable! She was relentless in her questioning of me and pushing herself into all my personal business. She kept telling me that if I wanted her help (doing online computer stuff) I needed to ask her. I would always reply, "Ok, I understand." You would think that the fact I never asked her for help would clue her in, that I didn't want her help. I would classify her as a whiney tattletale. She complained constantly about everyone that was staying there. She nitpicked EVERYTHING! She kept asking me personal health-related questions about me and my service dog. Which if she knew the law is illegal and could make the facility liable. She even accused me of going through her things, stealing a shirt, then wearing it right in front of her. As if it were a one-of-a-kind shirt sold by Target. Instead of saying she has the same shirt, she went straight to, "You stole my shirt, give it back to me now! Right now!" Like she really expected me to take it off in front of others in the living room area and hand it to her. She ruined my stay! She harassed everyone there, she was just awful! Oh, she did huff and puff while pulling everything out of her bags until she found her shirt that is identical to mine.

The people there and staff were very nice and helpful. Clean and organized home with a very nice garden. Overall very well maintained.

it was cheap, there was free wifi. The beds were also decent.

The other people staying there were incredibly inconsiderate, literally screaming at each other a couple of times. Part of the problem was that they couldn't sleep because of the very noisy party the neighbours throw every Friday. The bathroom was also quite dirty, which wasn't very comfortable.

bed and bed frame is not the same as seen in pictures and there was hair or some sort all over my bed when I arrived back from exploring the area
