About this house rental
Nestled in Iowa, this lovely house for $629 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Only 3 miles to the GTA Owners Club and 8 miles to Downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet-friendly. This 5200 square foot luxury home is steps away from prestigious golf and the entrance to The Galena Territory but quietly tucked away by itself on prestigious Trillium Lane. Our luxury home boasts 5 bedrooms total. The main level primary bedroom has an expansive walk-in closet, King bed, whirlpool tub and stand up shower. Upstairs you will have 2 Queen bedrooms each with their own large private bathrooms. The lower level has 2 more bedrooms, one is an additional primary suite with a large King bed and it's own bathroom the other Queen bedroom will have access to a hallway half bath. There is an additional sleeping room above the garage with 2 twin sleeper chairs (bring your linens), foosball table and tons of extra space. Most bedrooms, family room and living room have HD flat screen TV's. This home has space for everyone!! You can enjoy the open concept family room kitchen and dining or have some quiet time on the screen porch or all season room. The pool table and hot tub are bound to be highlights of your trip. You can sit at the pub table, rack up the balls, enjoy the fire/flat panel tv and truly have everything you had ever wished for in a vacation home. The attention to detail in this home will astound you. The upscale furnishings, outdoor deck with wooded view, top of the line outdoor hot tub and complimentary WiFi will add to your enjoyment of this beautiful home and area. Please note guests do not have garage access at this home even though it is shown in the pictures. There is a 4 night minimum required at Trillium during peak season from June to August. As our guest you will have access to the GTA Owners Club. The indoor pool is open year-round and the outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day (sometimes longer). The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and outdoor playground. Don’t forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Disclaimer: You may not have enough cards for your entire group. Guest passes can be purchased for just $5 a day at the GTA admin office or pool entrance, staying with us grants you access, it may not be free. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due their closure. When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel before the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Please NOTE: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible, we highly recommend travel insurance. Travel insurance is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days prior to check in. The provider is CSA. **Check in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. This includes the address, access code and other pertinent home/area information. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The emailed check in details will cover this process.

Would be 5 stars but we couldn’t get Iowa game in main TV in living room upstairs. Contacted management and still couldn’t get it working. Tricky operating oven/microwave combo. Otherwise rooms were great. The pictures of strangers is weird and I’m going to take good care of your place even if not there. Loved large hot tub!

The house has more than enough room for 7 adults and the toddler loved having so many areas to explore. The house was well stocked and very clean. Us 10 gals from Iowa had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was ideal for making meals and the sunroom, screened in porch and deck were all used during our stay. It was a hot week in Galena so we limited activity to shopping the historic downtown area and enjoying the community pool. We played cards and games at the house, watched movies and planned most of our meals to be had at the house.

Had a college reunion with 6 couples in this lovely home. Plenty of space for all of us to hang out together comfortably. Sleeping accommodations were great. We also cooked there on Saturday night and found the kitchen well equipped. Host was super responsive to every question we had. Great stay!

Overall it was a nice house in a nice location. We had problems with getting cold showers despite all of us being really quick! There were Japanese Beetles crawling all over the upstairs which freaked out the kids. Mostly in the game room upstairs, but we found them everywhere. We were told it was that time of year. Hot tub was great, and kitchen had everything we needed!

We’ve stayed at many different homes in the Galena Territory and this is one of our favorites. The house is located on a large secluded wooded lot at the end of a cul-de-sac. The driveway passes by the front entrance so loading and unloading your car is very convenient. Parking is only a few yards away. The house is immaculate and very well maintained. Our three couples and three children had room to spare. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances and cookware, including an ice-maker. There is a washer and dryer on the first floor that is handy for drying clothes after swimming at the owner’s club or relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub is spacious with wide steps and a handrail for easy access. There are fireplaces on two levels and an air hockey table upstairs that was well used by our grandchildren. In addition to the screened in porch there is a sun-room off the living room that was a perfect play room for the children and a bright quiet place to read for the adults. The Galena Territory strive to keep the sky dark at night so star gazing is spectacular there. We headed for the cul-de-sac at night for an unobstructed view of the sky. Consider loading the Sky Guide app on your smartphone to help identify the many stars, planets and constellations you will see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trillium Lane and hope to return in the future.

The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, the only property at the end of the street. Initially, the driveway was funky to navigate, but it got better with practice. Upon entering the house, the foyer opens up to the left as spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of places to relax on the first floor. The master bedroom and walk-in closet were enormous. On the second floor, the two bedrooms were well-proportioned and nicely decorated. The basement also had two bedrooms. The pool table in the basement was a centerpiece while others lounged on the sofa or sat in front of the fireplace. The hot tub was initially 90 degrees but warmed up when it was turned up the next night. Lastly, a game room above the garage had two small sofas and an air hockey table. This was a great space for the kids to hang out. Everything was nicely decorated. That was no small task, given the abundance of space to fill the house. We loved it there! One more thing. The Galena Territory does not have garbage pickup. In other rentals we have stayed at in the Territory, we have had to drive to the garbage disposal site at the end of the stay. The extra bonus of staying in this house was that they were kind enough to do that for you. It may seem trivial; however, it is a little way out of the way to dump your garbage when you are anxious to get back on the road. Thank you for taking care of the small things!

This cabin property was absolutely beautiful! It looked even better in person! Very spacious and big house. Comfortable stay for my large group of friends for my early bday cabin trip. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and they even included a hockey table (which wasn’t on the list), a pleasant surprise! They house was very accommodating with the basic necessities, especially bath towels and kitchen essentials. Very easy self check in and check out process. Stores are nearby, a piggly wiggly about 10 mins away and a Walmart 17 mins away. Very close to the historic downtown Galena too. The manager was very nice and responsive.
My only suggestions: we had a hard time accessing Dish cable TV’s, making sure they are easier to operate. Also, having few more outdoor garbages for larger groups would be great.
I would definitely book this property again and highly recommend!!

We came to Galena for a family member’s destination wedding. The house at 8 Trillium was truly a dream home!! Perfect in every way! It was the perfect backdrop for our get away; clean, comfortable, charming, cozy, serene - nothing less than magnificent! Everything was in working order and the home was well equipped. Communication with the management was consistently excellent . They were always prompt and thorough in their responses to any and all of our inquiries. We would definitely stay in one of their properties again!

The property was generally quite pleasant. The grounds were very nice. Without the empty cul de sac, parking multiple cars would have been challenging because the garage being off limits. Everything worked, no major disappointments, but this does NOT sleep 12 unless two sleep on couches (no pull-out couches), heavily used futons, the floor or you bring your own bedding. 10 do sleep very comfortably. The BONUS room is an empty room, not a bedroom.

Galena Family Getaway ❤️
We had a wonderful, multigenerational stay! The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with food prep supplies. We enjoyed time on the screen porch, in the hot tub and playing pool and games in the basement. We also took advantage of the Owners Club pool and other amenities. It was a great family vacation and we would recommend this beautiful home 100%!

absolutely was just what we needed. However, the dishwasher was tad crooked when closing. A childrens table leg was broke (obviously, had been glued before). A couple plastic glasses in cupboard leaked TERRIBLY to where they need to be pitched. Just minor things. We had a wonderful time.
