This home is a spacious retreat located on one of the finest beaches in Ventura County. It features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is off street parking for 6 cars, WIFI, and flat screen TV's throughout. A small balcony and stairs provide second floor access to the beach. A rooftop patio offers an unobstructed view of the Channel Islands. Located on Hollywood Beach, this property is walking distance to the Harbor as well as some great local restaurants and entertainment. This house is ON THE SAND. The second floor provides a soaring open floor plan with picturesque ocean views. The kitchen includes wrap around counter tops and top of the line stainless steel appliances. The dining area seats 10 and is located in front of a large picture window to enjoy the sunsets or watch the dolphins play out in the ocean. The living room has a comfortable sectional sofa to relax and watch your favorite show on the big screen TV, the master bedroom has a California King bed and is furnished as you would expect in a luxury hotel and includes a master bathroom with his and her sinks, a spa tub, and a large walk in shower. Downstairs there are 3 additional bedrooms, each with a California King bed. One bedroom provides an additional set of bunk beds. A 5th bedroom with a set of bunks is located in a loft along with a sectional sofa and big screen TV for games. The washer and dryer as well as a large linen closet are on the ground floor, along with a 2 car garage and 3 off street spaces for parking. All rentals include linens and towels. The property was beautiful and very roomy, it accommodated us all, with plenty of personal space. We loved the layout, but if you are not fond of stairs, then this is not your place ...there is 3 levels. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is huge. It is an older beach house but has plenty of charm. We will definitely come back.

We rented this house and drove from Phoenix because my son picked this place to propose to his girlfriend. What a great idea. The place was perfect and you would think it was a private beach. Pictures don’t do justice for this place. Everything was simple and best of all, she said yes!

The location is incredible - right on the beach! The views from inside are wonderful as well.
The property decor and furnishings are dated. Some of the drinking glasses were dirty with lipstick from previous guests. We just washed ahead what we were going to use.
Checkin process/instructions were very clear and we had no trouble.

My family stayed in this home in late July. We had three generations, 10 people total, under one roof and it was more than enough room for everyone. The location is perfect with the beach right in front of you. The rooms were comfortable. The dining area allowed for the 10 of us to eat dinner together and enjoy the sunset every night. Also, the total number of bathrooms with showers was a huge plus after many days out at the beach. Parking was also nice with room for our 4 vehicles. We look forward to staying in the home again for a future family vacation.

The house was clean and well furnished, with plenty of space for our family! We appreciate the beach towels, beach toys, and beach chairs provided by the owner. Courtney at the property management office was extremely helpful and responsive when we identified an issue. And we appreciate that the owner was willing to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. We can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our time at the beach house.

We rented Blue Water for the 4th of July, and the location is perfect. It's biking distance from everything and the ability to walk out right onto the sand is wonderful. Lot's of parking, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house. If you want to BBQ, you will need to bring your own charcoal, etc. The house is a little tired (furniture is worn, some damage to walls and paint and cabinets/fixtures are older), but it's a beach house and they let us bring our dogs so it was fine for what our needs were. Great communication with rental agency and very easy to book. The price is fair for what you get, and plenty of room.

We had an excellent time with family these last few days! The views out the front windows were spectacular of the big private beach and sparkling ocean.
This is an older house that needs some TLC, like the slider door to the beach, missing racks in the oven, no ice maker and other odds and ends, but the beauty of a big table for family dinners together and playing games together topped these minor problems. We loved all being together and will return back to this home!!!

We had a 3 generation family vacation. The house was extremely clean and a wonderful location. Everyone enjoyed their walks on the beach and watching the sunset. The kids rode bikes, played volleyball and explored the beach. As the grandparents, we enjoyed spending time with our family members from Arizona at such a beautiful location.

Easy breezy access (although I did wipe down front door) wonderful location. Neighbors friendly. Because we did rent in March, we were disappointed w fireplace not working. Did see it mentioned in an earlier review so was hoping it was addressed. It was not. But when your w family, how can your weekend not end up fantastic ❤️

The property is in a wonderful location and enjoyed the beautiful views from the house. The inside was very clean, but the upstairs patio had multiple cigarette butts and needed a good cleaning, considering the amount of the cleaning fee, this should be included. The house could use some maintenance. The screens were missing or torn and I did get multiple mosquito bites. The shower in the upstairs had a handle missing, the knobs on the stove would come off in your hands when trying to turn them off. The faucet in the kitchen needs replacing. Also there were big cut out holes outside the garage and the refrigerator in the garage does not work at all. For the amount of money you pay for this rental, the house should be updatedThe house worked for us, because we had four teenage boys, but if I was coming with other couples, I would not rent it. The cleaning crew does a wonderful job and I have no complaints, with the exception of the patio.

This house was perfect for our family of 9. We had 5 adults twin 16 year olds and twin 13 year olds. Very spacious with plenty of dining room seating and relaxing seating. The views are amazing and the location is great. Walking distance to great restaurants, mini markets and some shopping. Parking inside the garage for 2 regular size cars and 3 cars can easily fit in the driveway. Very quiet neighborhood with good neighbors. Loved this house…we will return!

We stayed 3 adults and 7 kids and had a great time. Plenty of towels. Plenty of dishes for all. Washer and Dryer worked great. Many screens missing from windows though including one low to the floor so we didn't open for safety reasons. House needs some TLC repairs. Some drawers don't work well. Overall, great views and location. We also had our 3 smaller dogs with us with no issues. Walking the dogs on the beach in the AM and PM was a huge plus also. Would rent again!

Thank you for a splendid stay. Not only was the scenery picturesque and breathtaking, the stay in the house was fit for royalty. The home had all the amenities a family looking to experience Oxnard's best could ever ask for. We enjoyed the open access to the beach, the local shops for shopping and the serenity of being on a beach without the noisy rush. We highly recommend this home to anyone who would like a little more space as this home had 3-levels of space to entertain family and friends. Might I add, our favorite was the deck area on the roof top-just exquisite.

We have been renting beach houses for the last five years for myself, my sons, daughter-in-laws and my grandkids and this was one of the best we have stayed at. It was clean and spacious and right on the sand. We could see our little ones playing in the sand from the huge picture windows, which they did first thing every morning while we had our coffee. We walked to the harbor for dinner one night and saw all of the beautiful boats. We had a seafood boil one night at the huge dining room table. We also rented electric boats at the Ventura Harbor which the grandkids loved. The other days we just enjoyed this beautiful house and the beach that goes with it. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves besides the few other neighbors that were out. I hate to recommend this house because I don't want it to get so booked that we can't find a spot to rent it again but I will absolutely recommended it!!! Best vacation ever!!!

We have rented many beach homes over the years in Southern California. This was our first stay in the Oxnard area. The home was extremely well supplied and so clean! The beds were comfortable and the home easily accommodated our extended family of 10. Really, we have nothing negative to say about the home. The location is on an extremely wide, quiet stretch of beautiful beach. The photo in the listing of the chairs on the beach is exactly how it looks. Our grandkids had hoped to surf and boogie board, but the shore break and poor waves prevented that. The locals tell us it is due to a sand bar that forms each year off shore and is forming late this year. Who knew? It's a good location for little ones to play in the sand but there were very few people swimming and no boarders out there. We all had fun in spite of that and the sunsets were spectacular. Stalking the Mr Softee Icecream truck, dining st Seafresh, kayaking in the marina were highlights of our stay. Great home in a quiet neighborhood made for a relaxing vacation.

We really enjoyed this vacation home. This is our seventh family vacation in California. We have also stayed in Imperial Beach, and Ventura. By far this home was the best. It's very large. There was eleven in our party, and we were all comfortable. The home was in very good condition.There are two bikes to ride, boogie boards, and sand toys. We left some sand toys and boogie boards to add to their collection.We also found the lid to a gas grill that works real well for a safe fire to make smores that we left also. The kitchen was well stocked.WE cooked most days.The only thing it was missing was a potato peeler, which we bought, and left. The only complaint I have is that the livingroom furniture has feather stuffed cushions that are in need of stuffing. The other issue is there are no ceiling fans anywhere in the house. Each room has a light fixture in the ceiling that could be easily replaced with a combination fan/light. The fifth bedroom was an attic suite which was nice for teenager's, It had a large couch with a bigscreen T.V. and play station. In the corner nook there was a set of bunk beds. One floor down on the main floor there was a very large master. Huge bathroom connected with a large jetted tub, and separate shower. Down another flight off the garage, and front entrance was three bedrooms. Two had king beds. The third room also had a king bed plus a set of bunk beds. I would recommend this house to anyone. You won't be unhappy with the pictures or description not matching the house. We have been very disappointed in the past, but not with this house. Had a small issue with ants, but that seems to be the norm in the Ventura/Oxnard area.

The house is beautiful and the location is even better. Loved that is was right on the beach and within walking distance of some good restaurants. The house itself is loaded with things to do like bikes, boogie boards and games. The only negative is one of the beds is REALLY hard and the bbq is tiny for such a big house. All the ladies at the office were great to deal with and they made it all so easy. If you are there on a Sunday be sure to make it over to the harbor (right by the office) for the farmers market, we picked up lots of treasures!
