Everything was lovely. Gorgeous quiet location yet only 10 minutes to Elgin. Comfy bed, recliner sofa, good shower, great hot tub in beautiful woodland. Annie and Hamish the donkeys were fabulous. Our little granddaughters loved them.
Spiders! But armed with a can of fly spray my 6ft 2 husband felt safe!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden cabin in Scotland and would definitely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we noticed all the thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special. The flowers waiting for us were a lovely surprise, and the welcome box was such a nice gesture that made us feel right at home.
The setting is absolutely stunning. We especially loved seeing the donkeys and the Highland cow nearby, whose name we believe is actually Charles! These little touches made the whole experience feel unique and added so much character and charm to our stay.
The cabin itself was really well equipped. Everything we needed was provided, including hand soap, shower gel, and cleaning products. The bed was already made up when we arrived, which made settling in so easy and meant we could start relaxing straight away.
The hot tub was a real highlight. Sitting in it in the evening and watching the wildlife around us was just lovely. The cabin is so secluded and peaceful that we felt completely relaxed from the moment we arrived. We could properly switch off, enjoy being in nature, and soak up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Honestly, we’re struggling to think of anything we didn’t like because our stay was so lovely. If we had to pick a couple of things that might have made it even better, it would be having a few extra oven trays available for cooking, and perhaps a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival along with some small pots of basic seasonings or condiments. Little touches like that would have been really handy when settling in after a long journey.
That said, these are only tiny suggestions and certainly didn’t take away from our experience. Everything else was absolutely perfect, and we had a wonderful stay.
