Pelican Beach is located in the heart of Destin and has restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment nearby. The property is challenging to make a left out of or into at times, so be patient. They do a nice job of checking reservations and ensuring that only registered guests are on site. Note- if you don’t like plastic wristbands, this is not the place for you. Tufan communicates efficiently and often and provided very thorough information. The unit had everything you could need, except I could not locate scissors. I felt the decor could have been better coordinated (with a more consistent beach theme), which would have made it feel more updated. The pictures have been lightened up so it’s a bit deceiving in the advertisement. However, the freezer does make ice and the memory foam mattress was very comfortable!!
