Good location just outside Vik on hill top - great for watching aurora ( which we ecperienced) and petting friendly Icelandic horses in the field
Nice modern facilities with own bathroom and kitchen- simple and small, but sufficient

The location is great. Directly off of the ring road near the black sand beaches and 10 mins from Vik. Quiet.
These are old units in need of attention. Various signs of disrepair- peeling cabinet fronts, peeling paint, warped floors, mold in bathroom, and , worst of all, a foul odor.
There is no ventilation- no fans in either the bathroom or kitchen. Further, no instructions on anything- how to use stove, how to work the heat, trash , check-out. Safety issue - broken , sagging outdoor stair where I almost fell. No info about the area. No communication at all from host once we checked in. We would not stay here again.

Comfortable bed, modern bathroom, dishwasher, easy parking, good location for puffins and black beach.
No microwave. Nowhere to sit. Too small to fit our suitcases. Curtains falling off railings, leaks in bathroom
