Pleasant

Good location on the road between Falmouth Harbour and Nelson Dockyard/English Harbour. Close to all the bars, restaurants and local attractions. Supermarket across the street. The room I stayed in was freshly decorated, nice and clean. The room had all the basic essentials: Fridge, air-con, TV, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels (beach towels available on request).

The check in process wasn't great. No one was at the hotel on arrival and it's not easy to contact the owner/manager when you don't have any wifi access or a phone which works in Antigua. An email or message, sent prior to arrival, explaining which room and the check in process would have been extremely helpful. If you get a room on the right hand side of the hotel (as you look at it from the street), you'll have to deal wit the daily noise of the business next door pressure washing vehicles intermittently throughout the day. Not the hotels fault... just something to be aware of. The pillows on the bed were quite hard (not my personal preference). Do not expect the price to reflect the type. of hotel you would get in Europe or the US, the Caribbean. Accommodation prices in Antigua are just expensive in general.

Should not be advertised as a hotel.

Good location, room was equipped with a fridge and kettle, comfortable bed. Lots of restaurant options and a supermarket close by.

No staff onsite, was confused when I arrived as property has no front desk and no one was around when I got there.. had to borrow a phone on the pharmacy next door and someone came 20 minutes after I called. Booked a 4 nights stay, room was cleaned once. No stable internet connection on the room that I stayed in. No instructions for check out.

Someone from management could have been there at arrival and departure....I got in and called and called....finally someone answered....Not pleasant to be visiting somewhere for the first time and nobody is there....somebody should be there to receive you

Very poor

No one was there to check us in and it was before 6pm. Standard room for two people with one towel only and no hand soap (just the empty bottle)

For a 2.5star hotel during a pandemic and for people pretty much looking for self catering, wanting to do their own thin

Spacious, clean room with king size bed, plenty of storage, aircon, kitchenette with microwave, kettle, tea&coffee. Bath with overhead shower, balcony with two chairs and a table. Large Samsung TV with Netflix, YouTube and internet. Wifi was adequate. The accommodation is almost like renting a small self catering apartment. Location was 5 mins walk from the yacht club and many bars and restaurants along the way without being on top of them. It is also 5 mins walk from Nelsons Dockyard in the other direction with more restaurants. A small supermarket supplying all the essentials is barely 2 minutes walk over the road.

I don’t know if some of this is due to the pandemic but contact was very limited. There is a phone number to call if you need your room cleaned or extra supplies and by chance I saw the housekeeping and was able to ask for supplies which were provided. Although two small bottles of water were in the fridge, there was no milk for tea/coffee so we bought some from the supermarket over the road. The hot water temperature is variable from lukewarm to comfortably hot. I’m not sure if this was a result of solar heating or whether another room had just showered and used the hot water. It was always warmer in the afternoon.

Fabulous Sleeping Home base location with lots of local places to have breakfast/lunch & dinner

It’s a great location between English & Falmouth harbour. Plenty of Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkets & all you need. I was using the Moxy as a base for Sailing Race, but my non Sailing wife wanted to be in a central and safe area, so the Moxy was a perfect base.

The Moxy Hotel should probably be described as Moxy Apartments, which is a more accurate description. But it’s still first class and worth using.

Towel was dirty and black coming out of a white shampoo contianer. The nozzle jsut needed a clean.

Exceptional

This is the perfect place to stay in English Harbour. Location just steps from the Dockyards, beaches and restaurants. So clean and comfortable. Staff absolutely accommodating and friendly . Will definitely be staying there when returning to Antigua. Thank you so much for allowing the late check out to help on the last day visiting the island.

Very good

The location was excellent, as was the manager. She was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much for her.

Anything I didn’t like (which were very small things) was rectified by the manager immediately!

Good location, we checked in after hours end receive simple instructions on how to get the keys which made for a straight forward check in experience.

Room and bathroom are very basic, and the most has a motel feel to it

Good location and friendly staff. Room was clean.

The room safe did not work and there was no hot water in the morning for a shower.
