Great location. Quiet and cosy. Most of the staff were lovely. Nice toiletries. comfortable beds and room was very clean . The coffee maker was great. .. no milk for tea but this seems to be the same everywhere in Belgium.
No mini bar or even water in the fridge. Couldn't stream any entertainment and only news channels available. Check-in was unfriendly and the member of staff only registered us for 1 of the 2 nights booked which locked us out of our room on the second night. It was sorted quickly after visiting reception in the main building.

Location for explorng the old town was perfect. Right next to the castle.
Really nothing,. We didn't pick it for other amenities so if you want those then this is not for you. But if you want a comfortable hotel with a great location for exploring the old town of Ghent, this is perfect.

Great location - room itself is nice as well
AC not working for two full days and front desk just say hey here’s a fan you can take (no I’d rather the AC be fixed), and the worst thing is - there’s a TON of mosquitoes in that room !!! I kept waking up to kill mosquitoes, and woke up with body full of mosquitoes bites , worst I had in years. HARD PASS . Half of the time you can’t even find anyone at front desk - I’ve seen a lot of confused people waiting at the desk.
