The room had all the requisite basics in good quality fitting. It included a TV and coffee machine as bonus items. Even thought it's in a monastery, the room is appointed in a modern, even hotel, style.
A bar fridge, stocked with a refillable water bottle, was great for keeping water or drinks cold while you're out and about during the day. The site has conference facilities, but I never noticed it. It's a separate part of the site.
The courtyard, with cocktail bar, is a great feature. The barman knows his stuff, and had good tunes going. I suspect the success, or not, of an evening there, depends on the mix of people showing up. I found it a good place for a break between late afternoon and before going out for dinner.
The main happening spots are about three blocks away. So you're not in the middle of the buzz, but easy and safe to get there and back at all times of the day and night.

Quirky hotel.
Paying for the parking when we were staying at the hotel. Found the stairs in the room and the layout very dis jointed. Cups also to small.
