A great location and a reasonable price. My teenage daughter and I stayed in a triple room on the third floor. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable (if a little creaky). The tea and coffee making facilities were much appreciated and I’d definitely consider coming here again. It’s nothing fancy but had everything we needed.
As other reviewers have said, some of the decor is a little tired. Our window rattled a little in the wind, and could have done with a clean — but I imagine it’s not very easy to get to, three floors up! However, for the price, we had no complaints.

Been here before. Rooms large. Beds comfortable. Nice shower in the room. Shared toilet close by and never met anybody else using it. I was in basement but with plenty of light from window.
Very good value for money.
Staff very helpful and I purchased a breakfast token for 2 mornings to eat at the restaurant on other side of square on the front. A very pleasant full English breakfast.
