Great breakfast and attentive, friendly staff.
Nice views across Porto.
The hotel could do with updating its furnishings in the rooms and having a general freshen up.
A shower in the bath is a little outdated and water leaked onto the floor.
A shower cubicle with a rain shower head would be much more appreciated.
Took a tissue from the box on the wall and it fell off.
The windows were very dirty which spoiled the view slightly.

Breakfast was excellent, great choice and well presented, only problem the cooked items not very warm.
The location is dreadful, middle of a poor and run down area. Taxi or uber needed to get to anywhere, restaurants by the river a good 30 minutes walk away and very uphill to get back to the hotel. It’s situated in Gaia not in the centre of Porto so you need to cross a bridge to get into the city, we were there for 5 nights and had to spend a lot to get to where we wanted to go.
Also very disappointed to find we had to pay to use the swimming pool, €15 per person, we didn’t bother as €30 for both of us not worth it…..first hotel I can remember being charged for the privilege.
Kettle provided in our room with usual tea/coffee sachets but no milk, I asked twice at reception for some milk, none arrived.
