Worth the price for the region, but not ideal.

Very good location in terms of reaching both Geneva and some nice French places like Annecy. Price is reasonable compared to the hotels in Geneva. Very cozy interior especially in the restaurant and at the reception desk. Very nice pizza!

I would put a higher rating if not the room cleaning. This is the most terrible room cleaning I've seen so far. Container for the shower gel was empty when we arrived and never refilled by cleaning, they left a trash bag from some other room's bathroom in the middle of our room, didn't wiped the dust from anywhere, and the weirdest thing was that they took 4 out of 5 our towels and... that's it. They didn't left us with clean towels, they were just taken away. I don't know how the cleaner could forget to put towels, that's kind of the essential part of what you're doing.... I had to go to reception and ask for towels.

Very nice place but far from Geneva Airport

We didn't realize how far away from the Geneva airport this hotel was. It was a taxi ride of $150.00 each way to shuttle from the hotel to Geneva airport. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant on site was good. The breakfast was the usual. We had some exceptional breakfast buffets so canned fruit cocktail is lacking in comparison. Danny at the front desk is amazing and is friendly and caring. You can tell Danny is a master at front desk operations and guest services.

Comfortable enough for a one night stay. Convenient to grocery store and MacDonalds.

Walls are thin. We could hear people talking in the next room, though they were not speaking loudly.

An acceptable (just) stop-over for travelling via Geneva.

Close to the road from which we travelled!

Walls are very thin, barely any noise insulation so you awaken when people in adjacent rooms start to move around, which for us was 7am (we were on holiday, not getting up for work!!) Paid for a 3 bed-room, got 2-bed room with an extra bed wedged in! Given the above, unhappy at the amount paid to stay there, so unacceptable pricey.

Very good

The location was good. The location had everything needed for a trip. It was near to downtown Geneva, as well.

Although the place was complete as per the needs of travel, the room, on the other hand, was a little tight for 3 persons

Almost Perfect stay!

i like it that it has everything that a guest might need: comfy bed, comfy shower room, aircon, electric kettle inside the room, spacious private parking free of charge, restaurant is there as well and a grill is across the street! the receptionist on duty was nice and speaks English. breakfast was a buffet and good!

just a slight smell in the corridor, but nothing inside the room. just slight!

Won’t be staying again

Chap on reception in the evening was absolutely brilliant - left key available for late arrival, organised ground floor room with easy access due to me being on crutches. Lovely young lady at breakfast - welcoming and helped with doors etc. Laundry was fresh and clean and air conditioning was effective. Good location just off the motorway for quick overnight stay. McDonalds and Buffalo Grill within 2 minutes walk.

Not sure where or when they took the photos of the hotel but there was no resemblance to the outdoor spaces advertised. Booked this hotel specifically because it had on onsite restaurant as not able to get about due to fractured ankle. When I booked I asked for reservation at restaurant. I then got a message to say that their restaurant was closed so I immediately requested to cancel booking. Was informed that no refund would be offered. Even after I explained the situation was told that no cancellation would be allowed. In the morning manager came in to restaurant shouting at staff and crashing around tables and chairs - completely unnecessary and unpleasant especially as staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Went to use disabled toilets which were full of storage items and unusable. Rooms were tired but laundry was fresh and clean. Rooms were not very soundproof and you can hear people arriving and leaving in hall, babies crying etc.

The Originals was one of the best stopovers we have ever had. We will definitely be visiting again

What a great place to stay. For us, it was a night stop-over before heading into the mountains. Rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was just brilliant with the most amazing food. We had the best Tartiflette of the whole holiday here !! Great location and it was right next to a Intermarche so we could pick up a few things before heading off. The Team were so friendly and helpful. Will be definitely staying at The Originals again! Thank you so much

Great value for money and accessible stopover en route to the Alps.

Location was perfect for what I needed - easy access to motorway! The staff were really friendly and helpful before my stay, as I was arriving late, so they talked me through how to get into my room after the reception was closed. Excellent value for money.

The breakfast is not really worth the €10 that you pay (optional).

Convenient stopover but beware the choice of restaurants close by

A convenient stopover on our journey from Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel. The room was small but adequate for one night. There was no dinner available in the restaurant at the time and we were told of three other nearby places to eat: La Boussole, Le Pacific, and the Buffalo Grill. La Boussole was described as a French restaurant but it was a great disappointment particularly with regard to the absence of wine. If you find yourself in the same position, I would strongly suggest you try one of the other response, or get a picnic from the nearby supermarket and have it in your room!

Ok stop over close to highway

Ok place for a stop over. Rooms small but clean and ok for 1 night stop over. Staff very friendly.

Wall too thin I could hear any sounds coming from other rooms.

Excellent location very close to Geneva

The hotel and the rooms are charming with a lovely decor throughout! There's plenty of private parking around the hotel and the hotel is located very close to the motorway and only 6km to the centre of Geneva.

There was nothing not to like! Unfortunately due to Covid the hotel's restaurent was closed so we weren't able to try their menu, but fortunately, there's a Buffalo Grill literally across the street which serves excellent food for not too much.

Very basic.

The man checking us in was lovely. Really nice guy. Room was clean. Furniture was nice.

Unplanned stop over due to technicall issues with vehicle. We chose this place because we deserved a beer after our traumatic day and its based around a pub restaurant. Nearly cried when we arrived after 600km and found it closed up. At least we'd have tea/coffee in the room right? Nope. Nothing. Literally the water from the tap was all we had to drink and with no cups. Not even the little plastic ones usually found in the bathroom. I just expect better from a hotel thats based within a pub/restaurant. Even if that part is closed im sure theyre not short of cups, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits... just the basics that you get in every hotel. The room was very clean, the beds nice enough. Air con worked well. WiFi was easy to use. TV was decent enough. The corridors smell awful though. Like a teenage boys bedroom smell. Im really quite laid back but I had to hold my breath and get out quickly. Its just once of those places thats open during covid but unlike many other hotels have made no effort to keep any standards for customers.

The room was as described but no heating (October starts to get cold). Good shower and bed. Breakfast available at an extra cost.
