Situated in Sanibel Island, this attractive condo for $244 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. ***RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR A 5-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL ON SANIBEL FOLLOWING HURRICANE IAN*** This cottage has been fully repaired and renovated and is ready for you to enjoy. Sanibel Shores is a small, quiet community of consisting of only eight units, located on the peaceful Sanibel River and within walking distance of the beach. Located mid-island near Donax Street, you are centrally located to dining and shopping and have good access to Sanibel's 25 miles of bike path. Sanibel Shores offers a complex shared heated pool. Sanibel Shores A1 is a spacious & remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage with all new furnishings, appliances and HVAC system. The cottage comfortably accommodates 6 guests with new king bed in the master and 2 new twin mattresses in the spacious guest room and sleeper sofa in the living room. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, full size washer & dryer, 3 flat screen TVs and wireless internet. The terrazzo floors throughout the villa are very beach-friendly! Enjoy the outdoors on the small screened lanai where you can take in the beautifully landscaped grounds and mature tropical plants and trees. The cottage has everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella and beach wagon. It is just a short 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bike ride) to Sanibel's world-renowned shelling beaches. All public beach accesses are open. There are approximately 25 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. Island homes and businesses are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment along the streets. **Cottage requires a 5 night minimum stay** **Sleeper Sofa sheets available upon request only** Sanibel Dwelling License # RDWL-008369

We had a relaxing week in this duplex that was an easy walk to the beach, several restaurants (including ice cream) and a convenience store. We hardly used our rental car. The beach wagon provided by the owner made beach excursions easy. We were missing a cookie sheet to use in the oven, but once we let the property manager know, we received it quickly.

This is a small house but affordable. Nice location, relatively quiet. It's a about a 20 minute drive to the north end of the island where the best shelling beaches are located. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but most restaurants you will need to drive or bike to Most of the unit was clean but small black hairs were present in bathrooms on walls. We tried calling the management company but they had closed for the weekend so we cleaned it ourselves. The unit is pretty outdated, but it was adequate for our one week stay. The wifi information we were given at check in was incorrect so when I got a call from my office that I had to work while there, I couldn't get on the internet. I called and emailed the management office on Friday night but lost the entire weekend due to lack of response. My daughter was excited to see a giant grasshopper on the screen to the porch and a large corn snake around the walls of an adjacent unit on our way to the dumpster. She's a big snake fan. The pool was clean and fairly warm. It would have been nice if the hose outside the unit worked to rinse off shoes after the beach. The unit was well equipped with towels, blankets and cooking supplies. The washer and dryer was a huge plus. Be aware that there is a $6.00 toll to get onto the island and it can only be billed, no credit card or cash. Car rental companies will charge you the toll and another $3.50 fee.

The rental was just as described in the advertisement. Very clean. Short walk to the beach. The beach equipment that was part of the rental was a tremendous benefit for us. We had some troubling figuring out where trash and recycling went but my husband stopped by the office got that cleared up. Throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return sometime in the future.

We found the property description to be accurate. Husband is a walker so the walk to the beach was fine for him. A beach cart & beach towels advertised as included. Could not locate either. Property was well-maintained & clean with the carpeting being the exception. It needs to be cleaned. Beds& pillows comfortable. Pool area clean & well-maintained. Dined at most of our favorite places while on the island of which “The Timbers” is a favorite. Sanibel Holiday staff friendly & easy to work with.

Lovely, Modest Cottage
This lovely, modest cottage was just what we needed. It was clean and has all the basics for a comfortable stay. Although there are 8 cottages on the property, there is still a level of privacy. The pool is well maintained, and we were usually the only ones in it. One recommendation we have is installing a ceiling fan on the screened in porch. Another suggestion is to include bikes with the rental. The beach is only 1/2 mile away, and there is a nice meandering bike/walking trail that leads to the beach. Sanibel Shores was a wonderful agency to work with. They quickly responded to our questions, and they were very very accommodating.
