i really enjoyed having a pool and the guy at the Pool was super nice, typical Sardinian friendliness!
there was a mold smell in the room and the reception was a bit unwelcoming at the beginning.

Located just off the lake side and 10 minutes from the railway station this is a lovely hotel. It's traditional, not modern. Clean, well appointed rooms. All rooms have balconies but the lakeside rooms also look out over the road whereas the mountain side rooms are next to a quiet side street. The bar is very good and the man behind the bar a master of his craft, a great place to start and end your evening. The restaurant is lovely and the food very good if you're not going into town to eat. We did both and both are to be recommended. Breakfast was excellent and if the weather is hot you can eat on the raised terrace. Reception staff are helpful and we were made to feel welcome. a lovely relaxing stay.
For us there was nothing we didn't like here. It's a lovely, mid tier hotel with excellent staff and clean comfortable rooms. It's a 10 minute, lovely walk to the town along the side of the lake and only five minutes from the ferry out to the islands. The owner of the hotel was on site and he engaged with the guests every night. That counts for a lot.
