We enjoyed our stay at the Royal however we do have to unfortunately mention the male bar staff that was very unhelpful when we asked for a drinks around 5.30 we were asked to wait as he was preparing bar snacks for 7 o’clock, while he then asked what we wanted he was unwilling to give us the 2 glasses of wine, and said we could buy the bottle which we declined.
The reception, cleaning, breakfast staff were all very helpful.

The hotel was like a step back in time, which we absolutely loved. The staff were all incredible, kind, considerate and caring. The service they provided was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were lovely as were the drinks on the terrace and canapés. The pool area was lovely and the pool itself a welcome relief from the heat of the day. Thank you for a lovely stay.
