Room was clean. The front desk person when we arrived was very disengaged and just gave us the key and told us are room was available and where to go with no other interaction, but later other clerks were helpful with maps and directions, breakfast hours and location, etc. Breakfast was good the first day when we were there when it started the second day we went an hour after opening and many items were empty . The staff were trying to refresh and refill items but we didn't have the time to wait for some items. Go early. Our lake view was only a small opening (about 5-10 degrees) between two buildings in the distance as were all other balcony rooms at this hotel.

Air condition didn't work. Had to get housekeeping to clean my room again when I check in...Other than that, great location and staff were helpful.

The Hotel Boston was fantastic for our needs, the location was just a minute from the swimming areas on the lake and a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Stresa.
The air conditioning in the room was incredible, outside it was 36 degrees and muggy so our room was an oasis to return to!
We had a big, clean room and the staff were polite and helpful.
Parking was easy (I booked well in advance - there aren’t many spaces).
The only small thing I’d like to have had would have been a better towel rail to dry the towels on. Oh, and plug sockets - only one in the room and high up and nowhere near a table so we had to take a chair over to balance phones on the back of to charge.
