A small, 8 room hotel that sits on the edge of a resort/spa complex, LeAncore Hotel is the kind of place your friends ask you about when you show them photos of your trip. “How did you score that hotel room view” was what one friend commented. Lots of watercraft in view. We saw yachts passing by on the way to Capri, and a ferry to same is available nearby. We wanted someplace that offered breakfast and sat near the water. All I really expected was a room near our planned destinations: a farm/food experience near Sorrento, and Pompeii. What we got was a charming, peaceful stay that was as much due to the staff as the location. Rosella greeted us warmly when we arrived and was helpful in all ways. Breakfast was substantial and tasty, and we enjoyed dinner there one night as well. I imagine during high season this place could be loud and busy, but we found it to be a perfect hidden gem in October. Though we didn’t dine there, we discovered a 2-star Michelin restaurant in this quiet village. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want a more town environment, you might want to stay at the top of the hill in Vico Equense. We preferred by the water

A beautiful boutique hotel with full use of the facilities at the larger sister hotel. Staff were attentive, friendly & helpful, the hotel is spotless and our room had a fantastic view over the harbour. The breakfast was fabulous, can't fault this hotel they go above and beyond to make your stay special
The ferries were not reliable (not the hotels fault but just be aware) and you need to book the free hotel shuttle or else take the steps up to the main town
