The hotel was absolutely stunning and perfectly placed to get the sun shining down on the pool area and balcony the whole day until the gorgeous sunset! It was absolutely spotless with some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met! Vincenzo the restaurant manager and Benjamin in particular were fantastic and made us feel special every single day!
It was a perfect location for day trips to Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Capri with the little marina in Seiano being a 15 minute walk down the steps to get a direct boat or a 10 minute walk up the steps to get a train.
Vico Equense is a hidden gem and Hotel Mary gives you a luxurious stay in an authentic quiet Italian town
Perfect for a honeymoon! We stayed for 10 nights and ate in the restaurant for 3 of them as the food was incredible!
I think for the price of the rooms, there should be tea and coffee making facilities in each room (we booked a deluxe junior suite). I did miss my evening cup of tea and whilst I could have bought one for €5 euros, I do think it should be a provision in the bedrooms

The staff were exceptional - warm and welcoming. Reception, bar staff, restaurant staff were all amazing.
The tiny soap that didn’t lather… just being picky… cocktails quite pricey.

The sea from the room was very nice. We also really enjoyed an hour in the spa ( extra 25pp).
The team managing breakfast/ restaurant manager was very nice. We were always welcomed with hello and goodbye when leaving and entering the hotel.
Our room was always made tidy when housekeeping went in.
The rooms are not very well soundproofed, you can hear everything from either side of you. We unfortunately had some quite loud neighbours, once they had left it wasn't as bad, but got noisy at times. Admittedly we didn't mention this to reception as didn't feel there would much that could be done.
The bathroom smelled very strongly of sulphur ( eggs/ drains) - this was pretty intense, seems like a bit of a drain issue at the hotel, lots of very nice smelling diffusers at the hotel, but maybe this is why?
The hotel bar and restaurant is quite expensive, compared to other local restaurants. We therefore didn't eat or drink here, so couldn't on the quality of the food.
We have checked out today, and no one has asked us how our stay was. We probably some of the above if we had been asked. We were just asked to pay and then we left. A bit disappointed.
