The room itself was lovely and clean, the hotel manager was kind enough to give us a room even though booking.com messed up the booking. We were also given access to the garage to store our bikes which was nice. The hotel manager was a good person.
Booking.com cocked up the date and caused hours of problems before and afterwards. The hotel manager was pleasant but challenging to deal with, she is elderly and there was a language barrier, not her fault bless her but still difficult non the less. Breakfast started too late for us so we didn’t take part and the beds were really firm and uncomfortable, thats something personal to me though but either way I barely slept and woke up with aches and pains. The bathroom was mouldy around the shower and the wifi code was impossible to read, add that to the tv that didn’t work and no mobile internet signal and it’s a very boring evening for my 12 year old son. Also the fridge was very noisy but we just turned it off eventually.
