Everything was really good. The staff was particularly nice, helpful, and cheerful — special greetings to Sabrina and Animation Team. The hotel and pool facilities were great.
But we did miss having a proper hotel beach. The public beach nearby was quite crowded, and without any beach facilities or umbrellas available, we had to bring our own gear to enjoy the sea. We came for the beach more than the pools, so that was the one thing we felt was missing.

The nature, clean air and the personal working there was nice. They used to clean the room daily. Food quantity was enough and they had different types of vegetables and salads with ok quality.
The quality of meat in the restaurant, the products such as butter (no real 82%butter at all, instead margarine and imitation of butter) cheese and salami was low. The restaurant was crawled most of the time. The room was old and with low quality of building (little holes around the windows and so on..). Games with kids and adults were short and superficial. Still ok for the money and good place just for have good time in the nature close to the sea.

I stayed here when I was very young with my parents so was really excited to relive the experience with my own children, it hadn’t changed overly much so the property had some lovely grounds to walk and the parks were a really nice touch for young ones.
There are beautiful fruit trees to look at, a treehouse for the kids, and I believe 3 small parks with slides, climbing frames, swings etc.
our favourite park had a really big climbing frame which was safe for all ages as the children could easily climb the steps up to the top while safe and the slides were designed really nicely (we had a 2 and 3 year old with us)
The shop just outside of the hotel is lovely ran by a really friendly lady and the walk to the beach is only 5/10 minutes which is also a lovely route with no roads etc so safe for children. It opens up at the end of a pathway like a beautiful secret cove (I’ve attached a photo) They do offer a free shuttle to the next town at 7pm and pick up at 10pm however the town is just a few shops and bars. There was a lovely restaurant called Capri which do an amazing pizza for just €15 and which would feed about 2/3 people or they also offer a large! We were all inclusive at Chrousso but did eat here 4 times in our one week holiday.
The staff were not overly friendly compared to my experiences on many other holidays, they smiled but you wouldn’t get the warm welcome like most places. The food was never hot even when freshly put out just mildly warm which was concerning on the re heated chicken. There were also a lot of flies in the restaurant I know this can’t be helped but if the food had lids or covers that would prevent them being on the food.
We requested cots in our bookings which took until 9:30pm on the first night to be put into the room and one of them had what looked like a blood stain on it.
The room was a decent size however the bathroom wasn’t very accessible for children as there are no baths.
The pool was freezing we did go end of September so the weather wasn’t best but no one really got in the pool and I’m not sure if that’s because of how cold it was or because the life guard was definitely implementing a no fun pool. The signs said no pushing or diving, yet when my husband jumped in (feet first) as it was the only way in otherwise you’d run out with how cold it was! The life guard blew the whistle and told him off.
The drinks also were a real let down and it wasn’t “normal” coke, lemonade, Fanta etc so we ended up just buying drinks from the local shop even though we were all inclusive.
The evening entertainment has also gone down hill, there used to be a kids disco with entertainers dancing for the children to learn the steps followed by an inclusive show for all, (one of the reasons we booked with children was it advertises evening entertainment) however all we had was some live music (a keyboard and singer) and a basic dance by the pool bar (so they can make a quick ticktock) not even using the beautiful stage that they used to use.
All in all we were very disappointed and unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon.
