Value for money

Breakfast was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. But noted some poor maintenance of the property. Pool was clean and nice. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the city and shopping areas. There is a water park managed by the hotel and we received free entrance tickets though we didn't have time to utilize the same.

Poor maintenance of the property's common areas. Beach is far away from the property.

Everything, Given free ticket to Splash Out Park & free upgrade of room. Excellent service by the staff and the whole team. Facilities was good.

Nothing to complaint much. Maybe can do some repainting to maintain the structure.

Gem to stay for the price

From start to finish the hospitality was Exceptional especially from Ibrahim, he made sure to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible and we have to say a big thanks to him for that! Location right in Kuah Town only a quick grab from everywhere and the waterpark is basically on site with some fantastic slides and fun for the day. The room was very spacious, really comfortable and great views with a lovely overhead shower. The air conditioning in the room worked really well and had the room cold in minutes. There is also a pool that we didn't use open long hours and some great pictures to be had.

The water was unclean and when we tried to fill a bath the water would be a brown/Yellowish colour even after a full clean out and refill. The breakfast could have been better was just average standard. One of the bath robes had a massive yellow stain on it which wasn't nice

Please improve on your breakfast spread

The room is spacious, beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a private beach and the view is great.

The breakfast was bad. Practically a vegetarian breakfast, no meat, burnt eggs (bitter), noodles were too salty. The nasi minyak was nice but only had Dhal & burnt eggs to eat with. A little sausage or fried nuggets would have been good. There were some ants in the room and the air cond was not powerful enough to keep the room cold. And the fridge was emitting so much heat it made the room even hotter.

The hotel was in very poor condition. There was a loud conference when we were there. The surrounding area was a complete dump. We checked out after one night. They offered an upgrade a day after if we stayed, but there was no way we would have stayed.

Its far away from everything, closest beach 30min drive away.

Only view was nice other then that can't comment

Breakfast Indian style, and old stuff from day before was heated up. Coffe was black water didn't had any taste of Coffe. I changed 3 rooms from original and had to ask staff to bring new pillows duvet and beddigns as all was dirty when I arrived to "prepared room"

Everything! From the moment we register for check-in & return the card for check-out, everything is amazing! Thank you to the team for the surprise room upgrade & hospitality that we receive throughout the stay. We wish to come back in the future to see more improvement from the hotel, can't wait!

To be honest, everything is already top notch but it would be better if the hotel can double-check the cleanliness of its towel, bath mat, bedsheet & cutleries. I love the food here, especially the nasi lemak & bihun goreng was so delicious. Others are pretty much decent but it would be great if the hotel can offer more varieties of food/breakfast.

Lovely hotel with great staff

The hotel is lovely, beds super comfortable, clean and big rooms, bathroom is perfect with a separated shower (hard to find in Asia). Great location next to a water park which you can use at a discounted rate. The staff are superb especially Dee at the bar by the pool. He works super hard and is very friendly and happy! I would recommend to anyone.

Hotel front side is wonderful same as the pictures. They have sea side Restaurants and bar also Swimming facilities. Nice view of Waterpark and Maha tower.

Need to repair window Glass to get fresh air..

Exceptional hotel and great value

We can only describe our experience as exceptional. We chose the Bella Vista in preference to a high rise hotel because of its character and Colonial style. A great choice for us. The rooms were spacious with well appointed bathrooms, great air conditioning and facilities. The pool and bar area were a fantastic place to enjoy the views and relax which we did most days. Reasonable prices and superb bar service. The breakfast had a great choice and suited all our needs. The special hotel rate for water park entry was really appreciated and useful. The greatest asset to the hotel in our opinion was the quality of it's staff. Always helpful,polite, cheerful and ready to assist at all times. Our special thanks to Dee Suwardi the pool bar Manager who personally made our time by the pool such a relaxing experience Also Mr Ganesan the Resort Manager who was able to accommodate a slightly later departure to help us with our onward travel. We would definitely return to the Bella Vista. Many thanks to you all.

the service at the bar was poor, room filled with mosquitoes, had to ninja our way in and out the balcony
