Fabulous location overlooking the bridge into Besalu. The public rooms were very ornate with a feeling of the past grandeur of the building. Our room was very spacious with a huge bed, small sofa and two chairs. A small fridge contained free water and other soft and alcoholic drinks you could buy. The bathroom was large and well equipped. Two sets of french doors opened on to beautiful views of the bridge. Breakfast could be taken inside or outside on the terrace. There was a large range of items to choose from yo suit all tastes.

Great breakfast included. Excellent location. Beautiful view. Lovely breakfast room and patio. Also, has a library.
Outdated, cramped. Many adorable cats if you’re a cat person. Very close to tour and parking area, but strangely our room didn’t seem too noisy.
