Pleasant

It is a cozy cabin in a super place.

Beds and matrace underbthe roof are suitable only for very little children, othervice are very noisy, sgueezing by any move.

Exceptional

Apartments for 2-4 persons, everything was perfect, we have got all what we need, just no microwave oven, but it's not so important. Absolutely silence and beautiful views. You can clean by yourself after accomodation or pay for it.

slippery in front of apartment, pure ice, we couldn’t clean it. they should clean it right when snow is falling, but i guess that is normal in Norway

I am a freqent guest for several years as the place and accomodation is extraordinary. Quiet, comfortable and service friendly.

Perfect place to stay, very Nice apartament in an amazing location. Very nice staff. All great.

Long cleaning list before check out was the thing which surprised both of us. I understand and is obvious to leave the place clean. Cleaning mirrors / windows, vacum whole place and washing floor really surprised us. Anyway place is Worth to stay.

perfect stay for a break in winter wonderland

Second time there, and a really nice choice for a wonderful area. Cosy, charming, cheerful place, with lots of character (fire place, sauna, sledging...). Great food and helpful staff. Enjoyed every moment of the stay.

Nice place in nature

I like the cozy apartment and the nature around it. We did not have a car and came up to the place by bus which was really tricky since on Satruday there are only two busses going to the center and if you go down from Nordseter to Lillehammer by bus, u have to come back by taxi. There was no food shop nor restaurant in Nordseter so we had to go by taxi to Sjøsuen kiwi and buy food for our stay. On Sunday only one buss runs down to Lilehammer at 14:30, not earlier then that not later.I think its good idea if the rental property mentions this things, so people are aware not to come without car.

Good

Flexible check-out, immediate help with problems with the kitchen equipment. Location is great - this is basically a winter resort, in the summer it is great for hiking.

The overall electrical safety of the kitchen equipment is, in my opinion, questionable.

Accommodation with a very nice view. The sun shines on the terrace in the evening so it is pleasant to sit there for a long time. Well equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. Good value for money.

Excellent retreat into the natural environment away from city stress.

Peaceful and beautiful environment in which to walk and run, though it is obviously rather hilly. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the Outlook onto the fields and lake and forest. The public bus was convenient for getting to and from Lillehammer for shopping and transport

The local shop was closed, only opening in July.

great location but more like a rough youth hostel

the restaurant staff and food were great and the location is right in the ski trails

there was no loo in the room so you had to share a common one down the hallway. there was no shower in the room so you had to walk to another building and down a floor for the shower. the front desk staff was unfriendly and not helpful. shame because the rest of the staff was lovely

Fantastic Fjellstue, authentic and good value for money!

Exceptional buffet breakfast and dinner, lovely lounges, some with open fire. Excellent cleanliness and lovely staff, good access to extras at meal times, nothing was too much trouble! I came with two young children and very elderly mother, and we were made to feel very welcome, it was truly a lovely and authentic Fjellstue! The kids adored the sledge hill, and it was fantastic to be able to ski straight out from the lodge. Lovely snow conditions, and just the right amount of cold !! -10C!! We had great views of the valley from out room too! Very little neighbour noise, nice and quiet location. Excellent value for money, would go back again!

My elderly mother did struggle a bit with the stairs and there was no lift, but I should have checked that out before hand, but worth knowing if poor mobility. Our room was great, shower a bit basic but fully functional, great tv, kids loved it. Could have done with some more hooks to hang up wet clothes! Mother's room was huge but more basic with only a sink and could have done with a bedside light. She had a great radiator that we dried all our wet ski clothes on.
