Situated in Anna Maria Island, this charming house for $700 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Relaxing 'Home Away from Home' Tropical Paradise - 3 Houses from the beach. Located on the quiet, North end of the Island. Perfect location for Amazing Sunsets and great Shell Collecting! Easy access to the Beach! This cozy home offers 4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a Heated Pool surrounded by lush Tropical Plants. The Master Bedroom is located on the Main floor along with a 2nd Bedroom with a Daybed & Trundle and play area including a Kid's Desk. This room with the daybed has a low ceiling - perfect for kids, but not suitable for those over 6 ft. tall. On the 2nd floor, there is a bunk room with 3 Twin beds and a 4th Bedroom with a Queen bed and a bathroom. Wireless Internet is provided along with a Desk in an area off the Master bedroom Our property has a Security Camera by the front door. The camera's view is the front entrance. The camera is for security and to verify occupancy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family time at the Toasty Coconut. The location is perfect, close to the beach and also to restaurants, shops on Pine, and the pier. The home had everything we needed—comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. My husband and I were accompanied by our son, his wife and 4 kids. There was plenty of room for all of us in the common areas. We all enjoyed the heated pool, and great walks on the beach. My grandsons enjoyed fishing, skim and boogie boards. We have stayed on AMI multiple times over the years, and this home is now our favorite. Ammey was very responsive. Highly recommend!

We stayed @ the Toasty Coconut from Sep 6 to Sep 10. The place was as advertised. We were a total of 5 people and had more than ample room / space. The things we liked the most: The proximity to the beach, the size of the pool (good size) and the palm trees around it which give privacy and a sense you are in a tropical setting. The master room is very large. The details of having toys and children's books was very important for the 4 year old our friends brought with them. The little boy felt the room with the low ceiling was his room. Communication with the host was very good. The electronic keylock is super since you don't need to be carrying keys around. The only CON I found was that I would of preferred the std checkout be @ 11 am instead of 10 am. That way you don't feel rushed to wake up and have breakfast on sunday morning. We had to pay an extra fee for going out at 12. We ended leaving I believe around 11 am. We have stayed at many properties in Ana Maria Island for 20 years and this is among the top 3. We would come back and stay here again.

This home's beautiful pool and deck was a welcome escape from the toasty weather. The home is super cute and well appointed, with all the beach gear you could ask for - no need to bring anything but sunscreen. Our stay was shortened by Hurricane Idalia and a little impacted by construction in the neighborhood, but all in all it was a great getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. However, we would have appreciated transparency about the many uneven step ups and downs on the first floor. A guest broke their toe on the first day after slamming it into a two inch “transition” between rooms. Would have also appreciated transparency on the major home construction of two new homes happening across the street and the off smell in the first floor master bath.
We tried to leave a note in a guest book but couldn’t find room to do so.

The house is in pristine condition, and the pool/deck area is a great addition to complete a perfect stay. Location could not be better: 1 minute to the beach, 2 blocks to Pine St where all the coffee, donuts, restaurants that you want to visit are located.
The attention to the detail by the owners is noticeable and very welcome.
Would come back without hesitating!

TC was just great. We liked having just 2 of us in the home, but it could easily accommodate 8 persons.

This was one of the best beach rentals we’ve experienced. From the first communication to the final checkout, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. So very well stocked and much roomier than expected, this was perfect for our family of four (all adults) but it would also be great for a family with little ones based on the available equipment and room layouts. Also perfect for two small families providing 2 bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs with full baths on each floor. The location can’t be beat. Listed as three houses from the beach, but this was such a quick walk to the best part of the beach. Easy walk in either direction to the secluded bean point or down to Holmes. Also easy walk to restaurants and shops. The pool was a perfect size and depth to play and relax in. Just overall a wonderful week. If you are considering renting this one, do it. You found the house that checks all the boxes.

Amazing!!!
The Toasty Coconut could not be more perfect! It is 50 yards from the beach path that takes you directly to the beautiful beach! It is a 5 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride to Pine Avenue where you can find darling coffee shops, restaurants and shops. The house is wonderfully and generously equipped. The pool area is private and the heated pool was used every day. The upstairs is perfect for a family that needs space. It would be good to know that the upstairs bathroom was accessed through a bedroom. It was perfect for a family, but would be a little awkward for 2 couples to stay upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms were HUGE and very comfortable. And there was even a tiny playroom for little ones. There were several level changes of about 3 inches on the main level. They were easily navigated by us (all under 60), but I would not be able to bring my older parents for fear they would trip. Overall, the house is wonderfully and I would look so forward to returning someday soon!!!

Nice, family friendly spot
We enjoyed our short stay here. The owner was SO responsive and accommodating. Warning that the house runs quite warm and parts have very short ceilings. Layout is a little choppy but it would work well for 2 families. Very kid friendly with the items available.

Well maintained home in a perfect spot very close to the beach. Loved the downstairs area that provided plenty of room for us all to gather. The guest bedrooms are on the small side but having the large open main floor was perfect. Pool was perfect! Great size and the perfect refresher after a day at the beach. We rented a golf cart but you have several spots to eat within walking distance or bike ride. Great hosts! Thank you!!

The only reason we give the overall rating 4 instead of 5 stars is that the layout of the house is odd. The master is on the main floor. It’s huge and the bed was fantastic. The other small room with a daybed on the main floor has a very low ceiling (as does the attached laundry room), and there is no AC vent in that bedroom. It gets pretty warm even with the provided floor fan. Our daughter slept in there. The layout upstairs is the bigger issue. You have to walk through the bunk bed room to get to the queen bedroom and the only upstairs bathroom. This could definitely cause some lost sleep if you’re staying with a group of more than 4. It was fine for us because our son was the only person staying upstairs.
It also would’ve been nice to have more than 4 beach towels for a family of 4 for 7 nights. Otherwise, it is a wonderful, comfortable house with amazing beach access. We’d stay again for the 4 of us, but not if we traveled with a larger group.

Worth the wait!
After many cancelled plans due to covid, it was great to finally be able to take our trip to AMI! Toasty Coconut was just as advertised, clean and well-stocked and the location across the street from the beach was great! The weather was in the mid 70s so having a heated pool was very much appreciated! Ammey was very responsive, check in/out was very easy. The house was perfect for our family of 4. I echo another reviewer about the layout of the house. It was not a problem for our one child and my mom, however, you have to walk through the bunkroom to get to the 2nd floor bedroom so it may not be ideal for an adult or couple to be in the room next to a bunkroom of 3 or 4 kids. Other than that, the house has a quiet, comfy and laid back beach vibe. Just what we needed after this past year! Thanks Ammey!

Charming retreat close to everything
We absolutely loved our stay at the Toasty Coconut! We’ve been coming to Anna Maria Island for years, and we were lucky enough to snag a reservation at this amazing rental for the week of our spring break. Anna Maria has gained a lot of popularity, especially in the past 5 years, so the crowds at this time of year are no joke. However, we felt as though the Toasty Coconut was our little oasis from everyone else. The backyard pool area is gorgeous and relaxing. The house is charming in an “old Florida” way that I love. We’re a family of seven, and we felt so comfortable. This house is stocked with anything you could ever need. The beds, bedding, and towels were high quality. There was plenty of room for us to eat together inside and outside. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed. Ammey, the owner, was so professional and kind. Communication was easy, and she even took the time to mail my youngest son’s blanket that he left in the house to our home in Michigan. That was a big deal to us. The location is fantastic! It’s so close to the beach that I never worried about making sure we had everything when we went. I knew it was just a 2 minute walk back at the most. The street is quiet even though it’s close to Pine Ave. and the beach. We never heard anyone at all, even during the day. Our kids are ready for some international travel, but if we come back to AMI we would definitely love to stay here again.

Lovely house and pool in great location
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was in a great location at the very north end of the island and within walking distance of the beach, Pine Street and the Sandbar. It was extremely clean and well-appointed. The pool was pretty large by Anna Maria standards with a great patio area. I gave this home 5 stars as it was a great fit for us, but the layout may not be a great fit for every group, so I wanted to describe it. The main level has a very large master bedroom suite and the second bedroom is a small room with about a 6 ft tall ceiling off of the laundry area. There is a narrow staircase to get to the second floor where you walk through a room with bunk beds to get to basically a second smaller master suite. As mentioned, it worked great for us because our daughter basically took the upstairs, our son stayed in the small room and we used the master suite.

Beach Vacation @ The Toasty Coconut
The house is great, lots of space, well decorated interior and stocked with everything you could need. You can hear the ocean from the street and the beach is just a two minute walk. The pool, deck and outside area are also a great place to have some fun in the sun. The owner was very friendly and was always available for questions etc. This is the perfect place to stay for a vacation.

The Toasty Coconut is a hidden gem in Anna Maria Island. My family and my friends had such a great time! The house has everything you need and it’s right next to the beach. Ammey, the host, is super attentive and responds very quickly to any inquiries. We had a wonderful stay and will come back again when visiting AMI.
