I’m so glad I chose Hotel Trasimeno for my stay in Passignano. The location is fantastic! Right across from Lake Trasimeno, in the heart of town, only about a 7–8 minute walk from the train station, close to plenty of restaurants and cafés, and just steps from the ferry to Isola Maggiore.
What really makes this hotel special, though, is the hospitality. Aros, the owner, is genuinely one of the sweetest hosts you could ask for. Federica and everyone helping at breakfast were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. And their lovely dog, Aria, adds even more charm to this little family-run hotel!
My room was spacious, cleaned every day, and had a lovely balcony where I could sit outside and relax. The complimentary breakfast each morning was wonderful and a great way to start the day.
You can really feel the warmth and care that comes with staying at a small family-run hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you’re visiting Passignano, you can book Hotel Trasimeno without a second thought, the hospitality is truly unmatched.

Nice place located on the first line by the lake with free parking and breakfast included. Very friendly and nice staff, including Aira, the German Sheppard.
On Lake Trasimeno, there are a few hotels with a similar name. Make sure that you enter the correct address in your map.
