The communication during pre-booking was prompt and clear. Check-in was efficient. The staff are very friendly, polite and speak good English. They allowed us to checkin luggage prior to room check-in, which made it very covenient. The room was spotless and had room for everything we needed. Housekeeping team restored our room daily. Microwave facility for a hot dinner was so useful. Coin laundry facility nearby helped us pack light and ensure we have clean clothes on the trip. A 24x7 convenience store is a 2 min walk from the hotel- fully stocked with all daily needs. Ueno area itself is very nice, warm. The Ueno station which is a short walk is fantastic and has english speaking staff to help you buy suica card and lovely shops. EXCELLENT MEMORABLE VISIT.

The staff were expectionally forthcoming and helpful. The rooms are a bit older (noticable only in the bathroom were there are small signs of use etc.), however, they were perfectly clean and the amenities and extras were great. There was even a charger provided in the room! We also liked that the breakfast was varied a little daily. Great location too - it’s a bit more quiet and not that touristy with good restaurant options around but well connected to public transport, especially the metro.

The 14m2 room was quite spacious and we had two large luggages, two small luggage and various backpacks and shopping bags. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows as well. There was a microwave on our floor as well as an ice machine. The staff were very friendly and were easy to communicate with.
The check in and checkout process was smooth and they also helped us with transferring our luggages to another city.
Short walk from the Ueno station but the Inaricho station was quite close.
Sound proofing between rooms wasn't so great. We could hear guests from other rooms quite easily.
