The hotel was an amazing hidden gem.Spacious clean rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast,free private car parking within eady reach to Carcasonne Cite 8 mins via car.

The hotel is in a quiet semi-rural location but 5 minutes from shopping or restaurants and main road connections. There is a very nice small swimming pool which we did not get the chance to use unfortunately. There are vending machines for snacks etc but no evening meal options (which we already knew before booking so was not an issue for us). There is plenty of parking behind locked gates which is a bonus for motorcyclists.
A very minor point but there was no bottled water in the room. We arrived late afternoon in hot weather on motorcycles and so a couple of bottles of water in our room would have been very welcome although there was coffee/tea available.

The couple who run the hotel are excellent. The breakfast was exceptional.
