We stayed just one night and it was perfect for this short stay. The communication with the staff was excellent, they helped us with the late check-in. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean.

Due to a sudden unspecified problem with the room we've booked at Rade 1, at the last moment we were relocated to Rade 3 of the same owner. THEREFORE, MY RECENSION REGARDS RADE 3 AND NOT RADE 1. Location: in a quiet street, at the walking distance from the Archeological museum in the city center and a supermarket.
A lot of steep and rather narrow steps can represent a problem if traveling with big and bulky luggage. The parking is in the street more or less in front of the hotel. Beware of an agressive owner of the neighbouring house: he will go to great lenghts not to let you park in front of his property (electronic detector with sound alarm, yelling from the window).

Location good as near the town centre
Friendly staff and comfy large room
Breakfast was included in price, basic Bulgarian meal and coffee but enough to start the day
Parking for hotel on steet, but outside front of hotel if lucky to get a space at the time of arrival (we were)!
Hotel is old building and parts need updating, cracked tiles on bathroom floor and walls and bit bit tlc required.
