Location was great. Most comfy bed on our holiday in Malaysia.
Smell in bathroom. But with fan left on was ok.

The hotel is a beautiful old house well-located in the historic part of Melaka, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and gorgeous boutique shops - we definitely recommend Calanthe Art Café, a café selling products made by local artists just across the street from the hotel. Our room, on the ground floor, was a good size and very comfortable. We very much appreciated the bathrobes and slippers which were provided, as well as the free toiletries. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.

Very clean, great staff, located in the heritage centre where you needed to be
We thought that by paying extra for the "super deluxe" room, we would be getting the best room and maybe larger. The only difference was that it had a window right out onto an incredibly busy and noisy street! So not worth the extra $$$. Avoid Room 201 at all costs. They need to put soundproofing into that room!
In fact it was so noisy that we couldn't sleep in there so we asked to be moved to a quieter room with a "Courtyard view" and it was much quieter.
They wouldn't refund the difference though, which I was not happy about.

Location. Perfect spot in the old town but quiet and pretty
Room was very small. Staff though friendly had no english and no information to help you. Arra downstairs to sit but didnt feel welcoming as quiet and receptionist just sitting there so felt difficult
