It feels like you inside a museum with the most beautifully decor all around. The breakfast was a great introduction to all the delicious Melaka foods!

The service. The friendly and helpful staff. The unique experience of staying a Peranakan cottage like.
Going up the stairs with heavy bags (the staff helped us) , but a lift would have been nice.

Great location right in the middle of town (our main reason for changing to this location). Fabulous tradition building.
Maybe because we were the only ones there, and the rest of the rooms were closed, but there was simply no air movement in the whole place, and it got stiflingly hot. With no shady outside space (or pool) it made for a very sticky stay! The price we paid was exceptionally high, so was very much expecting more I'm sorry to say. Wish we'd stayed at the more modern 5* hotel next door with a pool to cool off in (we asked if we could pay as a day guest to use it, but they didn't offer it ... silly them !!!)
