Kelley and I have stayed in many B&Bs throughout the last 30 years, and the Scofield House ranks among the top experiences. The upkeep and cleanliness of the house, the friendliness of Karl and Janet, and the spectacular breakfasts combined to make it a truly enjoyable stay. The Bethke's have a welcoming style and have curated a superb menu of breakfast recipes and sweet treats. Remarkable attention to detail that is quite rare.
Breakfasts are huge - so pace yourself. :)

The breakfasts were outstanding and very delicious, and the hosts were exceptional, felt like we had been friends for a long time. So enjoyed meeting the other guests too, and finding out why they were visiting the area. There is so much to do and so many shops to investigate, along with restaurants and wineries.
Because we sleep in a king size bed at our home, I would have liked a room with a king-sized bed, which unfortunately they don't have here, but the room and the services provided by the Inn keepers were so thoughtful, and much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.
