Nestled in Mill Valley, this lovely condo for $130 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Studio apartment with full kitchen and bath located in Mill Valley. This cute apartment, is conveniently located and makes a great home base from which to stage your bay area vacation. We are close to downtown Mill Valley, Sausalito and Larkspur, 15 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge, 30 minutes to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach, and 1 hour to Napa. The apartment is tucked into a suburban house in a quiet neighborhood close to useful amenities, Mount Tamalpais and local hiking trails, world class mountain and road biking. Take a five minute walk up the hill to a trail system that wanders along the ridge and boasts big views of San Francisco and the Oakland Bay Bridge. Street parking is easily available. There are 15 steps down to the unit. There is free wifi and Netflix and a DVD player but there is no cable TV. The kitchen is well appointed with a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and coffee maker.

This fit everything I was looking for, was a great location with a nice deck and great view. Host was helpful and communicative, the place had all the amenities I needed, check in and check out was very straightforward. I was here on a work trip but would have definitely stayed here on vacation as well.

The studio was very good for our needs. It was very quiet, private and in a very good location. It was clean and tidy overall but could have used a little dusting. The bed was comfortable but not easy for getting up during the night.

Plenty of space in the unit which is located below the mainhouse down two flights of stairs. Nice balcony and view. Good location in Mill Valley as not far from the 101 and a drive into the city. Very quiet and respectful hosts.

We enjoyed our 8 day stay, and would do it again. For two people staying longer than a couple of days, and cooking in the studio, more small pans and microwave dishes would be helpful.

Close to everything we needed!! Easy to get to San Francisco over the bridge....Muir Woods is minutes away!! Beautiful view from the balconey...5 wild turkeys appeared along side the rode to the house!!

I would have given this a 5 star rating but have to give it only 4 stars due to 2 things. First, the lack of hot water in the shower. I was there 2 nights and took 2 showers (both between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM). The first shower took a long time to get warm water (never got hot water) and the second shower (about 10 min.) I was unsuccessful at getting either hot water or warm water. As I had no time to contact the host/manager (due to the need to keep appointments), I only let the hose know upon my departure and the host appologized and said he would look into it. Second, and I'm sure this won't happen to the next visitor, there was someone moving into the very next door property and the movers were extremely loud and it was disturbing. This was just unfortunate for me. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and setting.

The studio provided everything to make my stay very comfortable. Coffee, extra towels, furnishings clean and properly placed. Nice deck with a beautiful view and seating. Easy access and close street parking. Beautiful area and close to downtown Mill Valley.

We came to Marin and went to a Giants game. The studio was very clean eat and had everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. The neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful. Very close to shopping and groceries. Perfect for the two of us! Would definitely stay here again!!!

We had a two day event in downtown Mill Valley. This place was perfect. Quiet, calm, and well located. Easy to get to Safeway to shop for food. Easy to get to and from for our event. bed was super comfy and the place was well set up. ONLY thing is that you have to be able to walk up and down stairs carrying luggage etc. That was fine for us. Make sure you are up for that and to climb into the bed on the platform

The location was great. Lots of hiking trails with great vistas. The apt was basic and satisfactory. The bed bed was comfortable. But the apt was a dark even though there is a sunny deck. Overall it was a good home base for my trip.

Tim’s place suits us perfectly. We live small and compact in a cabin in Aspen. Co., and the layout and convenience of Tim’s small space was ideal. Never felt more at home!

We were in town for a very quick stay and this studio was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as described. It was well appointed; a longer stay would have also been great (one of the best kitchens in terms of stocked items I've found in a VRBO). It was easy to find, communications were prompt and effective, overall a great place!

My requirements were simple: - nice place that accommodated me nicely. - some place quiet, close to nature but still close to things that were familiar to me. - a host that was accessible. I got all of this here. This place is great for one to two people. For my stay it was just me, and I loved the ease of checking in/out. I loved the view and I especially loved that I was able to cook for myself without being forced to spend money to eat. The studio was well kept and equipped with several necessities my sis and I needed for the week/weekend including coffee, dishes, an iron and ironing board etc. We enjoyed the little deck where we watched the sunrise and we were grateful for a comfortable bed after long days with family. Really nice place for one or two people. Very clean, good amenities - dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, gas stove. Comfy bed. It is close to downtown Mill Valley but far enough away to be quiet and chill. Tim was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend as a home base from which to explore Marin, Muir Woods, etc.
